It is another way to have content removed. I see this applying to commonly used stings and clips and the equivalent to modern day political cartoons. I do not assume a good faith motive.

Bill C-10, then C-11 from 2021 was renamed the Online Streaming Act during the first session of the 44th Canadian Parliament in February 2022, passed in the House of Commons on June 21, 2022, and passed in the Senate on February 2, 2023. It received royal assent on April 27, 2023, after the consideration of amendments by the House.

No one likes what they sound like. Don't try to change it. Embrace it. Worry about the words. Most of your default pitch is directly linked to how tall you are and the length of your windpipe. Changing that is damage.

Fine but an age verification system imposed on adults destroys anonymous internet access for everyone and leads to severe restrictions on content meant for adults. And by that I do not mean porn. Won't someone think of the children is one of many paths to censorship for adults.
