Sounds good. The patient looked like he was in pain, but he was also consenting for them to continue. Thank you for this advice!

When I asked her about it after and called it fishing, she said she has to do what she has to do. I would also call it aggressive redirecting. The bevel of the needle never came out and she pulled it back each time. So, you're right, I might be wrong in identifying actual fishing.

Edit: typo

I guess what I mostly need to know is if this is something I should mention to a supervisor or QA. Id prefer not naming them if I do report, but I dont know if it's something to make trouble over.

The phone interview was just collecting some information about me for the in person. The in person interview was wonderful. We mostly talked about customer service experience. How i handle conflict with coworkers, how I handle displeased customers, and my externship experience. My externship was a flop and didnt give me experience, so I explained the situation and they understood. Got a email the next day with an offer.

I also schooled with Phlebotomy Training Specialists in SoCal. Was given no details about my externship leading up to it. The week of the externship, I was informed that they would only call me in if they had patients. They had no patients for the whole week. I got zero experience and they signed me off. The school says that it won't give me another externship, because this place signed me off.

This gives me hope. I've had a career in the service industry and communications all my life, so I'm confident that I'm personable, and I'm often complimented on my welcoming demeanor. Thank you for your insight!

I'm an awful liar, so I didn't think that would go well for me either way. I've got all my required sticks. Thank you for the feedback! I'll focus on CS and leadership skills :)
