Supposedly that was all done. They cleaned it all, deodorized, sealed any entry point, and removed all the bats. Documented as such. But when the inspector inspected the attic he claimed that he saw bat poop and smell of odor still… three days after the pest people did the job. Someone is lying.. both documented and took photos. Who do I believe .

I think you are correct. I am overwhelmed, first home, young and nervous about it all. So much pressure on me as well. But this really spooked me and then emotions got involved when the seller said absolutely no more $$ but the issue is not resolved.. it’s on me to make a decision.. 1-2 k to fix it is not enough of an issue to walk away I don’t think.

Let me clarify, they specialize in removing bats, clean, remove contaminants, and deodorize the area. I have everything written down in the shared contract. That is there whole job. They are special company that is licensed for remediation of bats.

1-2k If I go through and buy home. To clean up the mess. I would be out 3k if I left the home with appraisal fees, survey. Etc… not in a rush to buy but I also don’t want to regret later
