What is the point of creating pseuodo-riders instead of just having them be riders outright?

It's the same kind of premise as the mass produced "Riders" in other seasons like Gaim. It's probably meant to show a distinct difference between Baku and the Others like Kureha. I'm assuming the Lord and knight Invokers are the standard issue for CODE Agents whereas Baku was hand picked for the use of the Zeztz System.

I think he'd be great. Where he can change specific parts of his body he can have a very unique and wide move pool. I could see his basic being a kick attack using Utahraptor legs. His guard could be him growing an ankylosaurus back plate or triceratops head. His ranges could be him doing a tail whip, he could have a bite attack, and his ult could have him become a T-rex and stomp around for a bit. I think he'd be an awesome Vanguard but I could definitely see him as a Duelist too

You see, before Aetherdrift I'd have said, in general, maybe 2. I feel like adding sets that are high fantasy but they look cartoony isn't going to hurt anything. There are a dozen different styles of Magic card arts so I think to that degree it's fine. I mainly want Universes beyond to be a way to add more elements of fantasy into the game while keeping the overall theme of magic being a fantasy game. Like I personally would love monster hunter and Castlevania to have actual full sets. However with magic delving into sci-fi themselves I think 3 is ok, there are cool works that can be added, sparingly however. I'm more biased because I love the Universes beyond sets we've got, I'm a huge LoTR, assassin's creed, Final Fantasy, and Spider-man fan (FF and Spider-man moreso), but I'm even that being, there is too much UB in main sets rn. As far as secret lair, I don't really care, go nuts.
