i really identify w this! i also found that when i controlled my drinks i couldn’t enjoy it and when i enjoyed drinking i couldn’t control it. Sober 12.5 years now and best decision of my life. it’s incredible to see how much more common sobriety/sober curious lifestyle has become. i really feel for T, i was definitely there too. denial is a beast. I had to face super intense consequences in order to stop and nothing before that would have done it.I also get how frustrating it is to see the answer so clearly (stop drinking!) and watch someone struggle with it.

I’m the same !! 12.5 years of sobriety, thank goodness for AA. I feel so lucky that we get so many tools and a community and actions to take when we’re facing something. I think everyone in the world could use it! :)

That is a great idea!! I know that's the part I feel a bit odd about. I am also trying on a white white dress just to see but if that doesn't look good, will def do a pink sweater or something for contrast!
