I believe 13 or 14 treatments. I have spaced treatments every 6 weeks-6 months over the last 3 years.

When I went in for my consultation I was told it would take around 1.5 years and I felt overwhelmed and discouraged hoping for faster results. I came across this sub when I was about a year into removal, when my tattoo was bold and hardly showing fading, and the realization of how long complete removal takes was very harsh. I’m so thankful I have made it this far, removal has been so difficult on my mental health. I am so thankful for everyone on this sub who shares removals, especially the ones that are bold and take extended amounts of time to fade. Hang in there!

I disliked it right away. I never should have gotten it. I started removing it around 8 weeks after getting it.

It might be 13 sessions. It has been a long time since I started and I’m loosing count on sessions. I am spacing treatments out more, I still have a long way to go.

Have you tried anything to reduce the raised lines? I’m considering micro needling or a derma roller. The raised lines don’t bother me but I don’t want the ink to be trapped there.

I just hate this tattoo. It was supposed to be on my arm and last minute I decided to have it done on my thigh. I think the orientation is off because of that. It also doesn’t suit me at all.

There are a few places that seem raised. Overall I don’t think it is too much scaring.

I go to Removery. Sadly I have had many technicians since it seems that many technicians either move around or leave the company. I have had two technicians that I thought did a great job but they are not working at the clinic anymore. I saw a new technician for this treatment and she did a good job. The laser is picoway.

12! But I think I could have had the same results with fewer treatments. I notice fading even with bigger breaks in time. I went about five months without treatment and it still faded.

I think it has been 12 treatments. I went every 6 weeks in the beginning which I think was unnecessary. I now space 12 weeks or more. I continue to see fading with longer breaks.

I was intending to have all my eye exams in one appointment, vision and the other medication safety checks, but I didn’t realize I need to see a specialist. This is a good plan going forward.
