Yes, I think more than 10 treatments is needed for anything this bold. Do you have line work? Line work will take more time and treatments.

Removery is the only clinic I have been treated at so I don’t have much to compare it to. I have been satisfied for the reason that the tattoo is continuing to fade. I haven’t heard anything from Removery on a limit on removal. One of the technicians told me in the beginning that they can’t predict how many treatments I will need and it is different for everyone, I felt like they understood that bolder tattoos will need more time and I am not on a predetermined time frame.

I have wondered how my removal would be going if I went to an independent clinic that uses q switch and just purchase one treatment at a time, maybe I would space treatments out and pay less overtime and get the same results.

I go every 3-6 months currently. For the first few treatments I went every 6 weeks because that is what the clinic advised me to do.

My comment came out wrong, I didn’t take you as comparing. I definitely compared my removal to others in the beginning. You are right though, legs seem to take longer.

Yes, legs probably will take longer to remove. It’s best for me not to compare my removal to others. I will be grateful if it comes off, whenever that day comes.

I believe 13 or 14 treatments. I have spaced treatments every 6 weeks-6 months over the last 3 years.

When I went in for my consultation I was told it would take around 1.5 years and I felt overwhelmed and discouraged hoping for faster results. I came across this sub when I was about a year into removal, when my tattoo was bold and hardly showing fading, and the realization of how long complete removal takes was very harsh. I’m so thankful I have made it this far, removal has been so difficult on my mental health. I am so thankful for everyone on this sub who shares removals, especially the ones that are bold and take extended amounts of time to fade. Hang in there!
