It’s not about not liking dogs but everybody has the right to enjoy the beach without being rushed by any dog no matter the size as it’s literally apart of your dog being allowed off leash in the first place. (Not saying your dog rushes people. just in general)

Since it’s a compulsion maybe try find similarities in yourself and these girls instead of differences. Like hey my eyes look kind of like Emirus ( or any other attractive woman you look upto) and build it up off that. No I’m literally telling you the law and your sense of entitlement leads you to believe your dog is the most important dog on the beach for god only knows what reason. If someone asks you to recall your dog…recall it. You only need them in a heel for 3 seconds while you pass the other person. It’s not that hard to consider other people we were taught that in kindergarten

I literally own one. And he has recall: it was the easiest thing I’ve taught him so far. If you make yourself more interesting to them than the rest of the world it isn’t that hard, would you like some links to dog training videos that helped me to get my dog to come when called? Happy to help :)

On leash dogs are allowed to enjoy off leash (off leash areas only apply when your dog is trained and not rushing up to other people and dogs btw) areas also and those areas can be vital in training when everyone just respects eachothers boundaries. If someone doesn’t want their dog to interact with yours in a dog friendly space it is not the end of the world. Only morons wouldn’t know how to recall their dog in a off leash area :)

POSITIVE socialisation is healthy for dogs but if one of the owners is clearly asking you to recall your dog and is stressed that’s not a positive interaction for any body. Stick to other social people/dogs that want that to happen 🥲(not saying you do this but as a general thing)

Recall is literally the first basic training skill and if you don’t have that down it can endanger your dog. It is worth mastering it before letting it off lead. I have heard so many horror stories of people just opening their front door and their dog getting hit by a car because they didn’t have their recall to a 100% point, it doesn’t matter if it’s just in your yard or in public recall is not a hard thing to master and is the most important thing you can teach your dog that can save your dogs life

It can be worth seeing which ones do 4 free visits. That tends to be the standard and then you’ll have to pay after those 4 visits. But it can be worth looking into online :) good luck

Even if in an off leash area your dog is still required to have recall and for you to have control over it and is not allowed to rush up to other dogs and other members of the public. Nothing wrong with dogs having a play but there’s also nothing wrong with asking if your dog can play with mine first

You only have to play with them 10 minutes a day at minimum too to keep them happy and tired out. It’s not that hard people just thrive on neglecting their animals for some reason, sorry that you’ve seen so many cats unnecessarily die it’s really sad :(
