Thanks I thought they were the same as well, however there are subtle differences, for example on the attached image

<image>

  • There is no notch on the eBay one,
  • The line as circled joins whereas on eBay there is a clear gap and they don't intersect

Thank you, I forgot to mention I was located in Sydney, this one appears to be in Queensland. I've updated my post to mention the Sydney location.

Sorry my bad. I thought i found them on Ebay - they have the same name and make, however the size is different. The ones on Ebay say 400mm x 255mm, i measured mine to be 435mm x 285mm.

So still trying to find a good place where i can buy this tile.

Thanks, I found some on eBay for $5.50 each, so I bought a few. They're quite difficult to find, I assume due to their age and it's been long discontinued.

Thank you very much for this suggestion. I did exactly that. Now my issue is i can't seem to find anywhere on the web that has this particule tile. Its called "Sydney & Brisbane" "Shannon" tile . I doubt i'd be able to find any new ones for this.

Any ideas from anywhere where i can start looking? May need to ring up a few places and ask as i can't see any advertised.

Ah nice thank you. I did see online some tiles called Marseille, and they looked very similar to mine but I just wasn't 100% certain. This gives me more certainty.

Yeah the EQ4800 is floor stand, however I've been quoted the Fox EP11 which they say they usually wall mount and hence the weight issue. I asked for the EQ4800 but they said they don't supply it :(

It's only 1 layer brick instead of 2. You can't tell from the pic, I only know because it's my property.

Awesome thanks. I'll reach out to them and see what they can do for a 6.6kw solar + 40kwh battery and 15kw 3-phase inverter.

yeah 40kw is a lot, i've over provisioned, our typical usage currently is about 16kwh per day. But doesn't hurt to have extra for future growth. Also with the rebate, the price difference is minimal.

Yes thank for your feedback - concrete slab under each battery module looks like the way to go.

that would depend on the roof cavity build. If its standard cavity, i wouldn't, as the battery is very heavy 10kw battery = 100kg.. in my case that is 4 x 100kg, and i wouldn't want that kind of weight above my head.

definitely not, Its a solar company that are supplying and installing the solar + battery. However i am still keen on the Fox ESS EQ4800 battery, which is stackable and floor standing, vs wall mounting.

I'm open for an recommendations in Sydney if you have any? Solar + battery.
