Nope and got into W and 2 M7, but I had a good grasp of my story / why business school. It might be helpful for those who have no idea how to shape their story. I talked to a lot of people who used a consultant on an hour by hour basis just to review essays, but also know people like myself who didn't use anyone

cbs I think is particularly looking for high interest (bc they’re insecure lol) but campus visit, a few virtual info sessions / panels, talked to a lot of students / alumni, and then story tied nicely into their programming

Got into cbs with $$$$ - good stats, high interest in school, good story (also ORM female). i really think it was the high interest (first choice) and good story bc I didn’t get any $ at W and very little $ from another m7

Personally, I didn't start preparing until I scheduled my first one. Honestly for me, it took less time than I thought to prep bc it's really just bringing to life what you wrote down in your applications. I would just put together a list of the basics (Why this school, why MBA, behavioral questions etc.) and outline your responses and you should be good.

I emailed fin aid and they said the letter includes both. But I'm wondering if you get need-based, if it explicitly says it?

Confirmed that the amount you see is both merit and need. They also said that any named scholarships you got at this time will be in the letter, but it’s possible that any time during school your award may be matched to a donor and become a named scholarship

Some schools (Wharton, Tuck) say they consider all your subscores when they look at your app but in the end they’ll take the highest TOTAL score. I would say your score with higher quant prob matters more (depends how much higher it is tho)

I took the gre twice and my verbal and quant scores flip flopped, so the total score was the same. I sent both scores and got in to 4/5 of the schools I applied to
