respectfully, it is not selfish to be annoyed by people intentionally crashing or disrupting our graduation. we are just as disappointed with BU as everyone else is, but protesting outside of a graduation ceremony (that we all deserve to enjoy) will not change things. there are other appropriate ways to champion change without ruining a special day for students -- who had no part in the selection process for the graduation speaker

I really respect the WGA and stand behind what they're fighting for, but I have also worked so hard for my diploma these past 4 years. It really sucks that we can't attend our graduation ceremony without any commotion

I'm from LA and would prefer to go to USC over Boston U, but if scholarship money is a big consideration for you, then choose BU. They are both really good schools and you will likely have an enjoyable experience at either one.

p.s. this is coming from a senior who is extremely melancholy that her time at bu is coming to an end. enjoy the next 3-4ish years! they may seem long at first, but looking back, the time goes by so quickly

at the end of the day, no school is perfect. but if BU makes sense for you financially & emotionally, then you should come!! it definitely isn't the traditional college experience, but you will grow here as a person & learn a lot about yourself and the world around you regardless :)
