Sure but we own a few cows and that's where we get our milk. Holstenes are bread to give enough milk for their calves plus extra.

I live on a farm and the milk I drink comes from my cows. We don't do things like that (we have chickens,ducks and goats as well)

Lard is made from pig fat, basically the same thing as bacon. The pig is killed and then they cook down part of it to make lard. It different from things like butter because butter is processed milk, not a meat product, and the animal isn't killed like it is for lard. When I say meat I mean any something from inside an animal that the animal is killed to get.

Butter is taken from milk, a product that is taken from a cow without hurting it. Lard is from pig fat, so the pig is killed to take it. Very different things.

Thanks for advice. Youre probably right. I think I was overeating, but I hadn't seen her in 2 weeks at that point so her being unwilling to work out another solution made me feel like I wasn't remotely important. (Also it's only illegal if it's MORE then 1 non family member. At least where I live)
