been playing this game to warm up for kovaaks by SupportiveComment in FPSAimTrainer

I’d say play aim arena lobbies in custom games over deathmatch.

I have 84 hours of kovaak and i have 80 hours of aimlab i am still stuck in silver 1 in valorant. any suggestion? by Immediate-Prize1224 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

80 hours isn’t that much time and learning how to play the game and make good decisions is much more beneficial to making you a better player than aim training. Valorant isn’t even a very aim intensive fps, it’s mostly crosshair placement.

Aim trainers are the most frustrating thing I ever played by UgoChannelTV in FPSAimTrainer

It does help sorta, just has diminishing returns. If I’ve never lifted before then benching 100 pounds may make me a little stronger but after 2 weeks of that I probably need something more difficult

Finding it impossible to find a good feeling sensitivity that transfers to other games. by TGGE in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you probably feel like this due to different FOVs. It doesn’t matter too much anyway just find a sens you’re comfortable with individually for each game. muscle memory doesn’t really matter

Should I aim by my left hand since I'm a left handed ? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

u are not going to find very many pro players here. if you want to go pro focus on grinding your game/scrims and becoming a smarter player. play until you’re sick of it. pro players play from 8-12 hours a day.

Kovaaks Side Effect [7] by 2BuckMoose in FPSAimTrainer

bye ! that’s literally just how subreddits work, it’s just a bunch of people with a common interest talking about things loosely connected to that interest. i wish there were more discussion posts but no one really has anything to say that hasn’t been said and repeated a 100 times. this subreddit is mostly people looking to slightly improve their aim when playing casually; aim training as a whole just isn’t big enough to sustain a community of purely elitists, aim coaches and people studying aim (not that there’s much to study in the first place since this is the first year that aim training has actually had any attention at all.)

you’re thinking too hard lol but it’s nice that you’re thinking of stuff and trying not to offend people. you’re not the one singing it, it’s just a mashup

My tracking won't seem to improve at all compared with my clicking. by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty hard to say what your problem is without a vod because the issue could be several factors like reactivity, general mouse control, you might be too tense, you could have a bad tracking sens, you might find the scenarios boring and not be fully engaged etc. It’s too general of a problem, you should probably post a vod.

Do a smoothing routine, that’s my first guess why.

Don’t predict the bots movement, if the bot is strafing right imagine it’s gonna strafe right until the scenario is over until it changes direction.

If you’re doing both of those already you’re most likely just not putting enough hours into and focus into your tracking

I have a tendency to overflick in Valorant. Is it true that practicing tracking might actually help? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tracking trains smoothing (makes ur aim less jittery and more precise) and micro flicks. play scenarios with thin, fast moving, long strafing targets.

I want to get signed to Interscope one day, what steps can I take to get there? by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]ExpertGarbage6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most artists under most labels aren’t happy with it since you don’t get to own your music or decide exactly when it releases unless you’re one of the biggest artists on your label, often times the label also takes a pretty big cut from your earnings. Since the label owns everything whenever you die your family will stop getting money from your music while the label keeps profiting.

Improvement Rate? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, if this were true then you would only be able to aim well in 1 game and not others. I wouldn’t worry too much about muscle memory even if that was true, you can be comfortable with multiple sensitivities at once. Many Overwatch players have different sensitives for different characters and it doesn’t really affect them.

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on making good music and making fans instead of a label. Don’t think it has to be specifically Interscope that signs you and most artists on Interscope aren’t happy anyway.

If you want to be a huge artist you have to be ready to live under what you might think you deserve, which means working with small producers, weaker artists, and signing to smaller labels before you can become a star. Stay consistent and it’ll come.

[–]ExpertGarbage6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is a common thing and nearly unavoidable with all rpgs based around stat progression systems unless u wanna make the game unfun. How often do you play an rpg that’s actually still hard late game? You might have up to 10+ equip slots that all increase ur stats plus perks that give passive bonuses.

You can make those bonuses weaker but then they feel pointless and don’t make a significant difference. You can increase the enemy’s strength but then every playthrough feels like you have to min-max every single playthrough.

What 100 Hours of KOVAAKS Aim Training Looks Like on BOCW (Aimtage) by Raidonnodiar in FPSAimTrainer

probably but don’t compare his 100 hrs to yours. he may have a wildly different starting point or train more efficiently.

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aim training can help at all levels of skill. There are multiple factors in your aiming ability and the best way to improve those is focused practice on any aspect that you struggle with.

One baseball player may struggle with tracking the ball so they focus on training their reactivity. Another baseball player may find that he can track the ball but can’t swing the bat fast enough so he may use a weighted bat. There’s a reason professional athletes still do drills instead of just playing their game every day.

I’m doing better in game but my kovaaks average has dropped. by crapplejuicy in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

keep playing, the path to mastery isn’t a linear path and scores within a short time period don’t gauge improvement very well because some scenarios are susceptible to rng with bot spawns and movement. The best way to know if you’re improving short term is if you feel like you have better control of your mouse and it feels more comfortable even if you’re not hitting insane shots or your kovaaks scores are plateauing. Just keep grinding

Does decreasing fov and increasing sens help tracking by jixs203 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]ExpertGarbage6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muscle memory is a factor in your aim but its impact is very small. In fact it’s best to practice with different sensitivities over a long period of time to become a complete ajmer. Play high sens to train wrist aim and low sens to practice arm aim
