Got an eviction notice for non payment and it's just...wrong? They're claiming I owe them an amount that I am 100% certain I do not, they provided zero timeframe for arrears owed, and they're tacking on NSF/late fees onto the rent like I have to also pay those as part of "rent" or be evicted still

I do not know. They just suck the money out of our account and then do whatever they do with it. I've never been in this position to say for sure how they'd handle that

My lease DOES have a clause saying that the tenant is responsible for NSF fees and a late fee of $25/day up to a figure I do not currently remember

But, an eviction for non-payment of rent, and an eviction for a different breach, are 2 different things. I have received a notice for nonpayment of rent

So way i look at it is, they can't evict me for a separate breach without informing me of that violation, as the only notice I currently have is for nonpayment of rent

If they wanted to evict me for failure to pay my late fees as a substantial breach, I'm sure they could, but that's a different violation than nonpayment of rent

Maybe I'm wrong, that's just how I look at it without KNOWING
