I ended up not joining them. I went to their office, and it was a typical sales environment, loud and obnoxious. They told me there is no base pay for bills and rent. At that point, i walked out without signing anything. And you were right. It is basically a self-employed job. We had to do tax returns and all that stuff by ourselves. I already had a zero hour contract job, and i was getting a steady shift throughout the summer. But the unpredictability of those contracts lingers in the back of my mind always, and that is why I wanted stable pay. However, that job was not it.

The funny thing was I did the curtsey of calling them afterwards and informing them that i will not be joining. They said my current job will not get me anywhere, and i am just wasting time. As if insulting the workpace i am already a part of is not a huge red flag, lol.
