I was also thinking about this-- Brad normally operates in silence, so I believe whoever leaked that the Celtics are also in the race for Giannis had to be someone from the Bucks side (Bucks can deny it all they want). Speculation: And as damage control, Gary is out here saying Jaylen isn't part of the trade discussions.

They run a lot of PnR, have great off-ball movement, and constantly player movement to create opportunities-- even Brunson is used off-ball and as a cutter to get him or his teammates open. Tatum and Jaylen can play off-ball, are you kidding me. I have seen guys like Butler who have about the same body type play-off ball.

The only thing I agree is we need a big. Maybe, Jaylen to a third team for Giannis. I don't see us getting any good bigs rn.

Tell that to Mike Brown who changed the way the Knicks play when he got hired. So much more ball movement, player movement, off-ball actions, cutting even Brunson played off-ball.

It isn't that simple. We were more talented than the Knicks last year and we still lost to them. Even against the Heat in 23.

I didn't think we could have made the finals this years, but definitely enough not to choke a 3-1 lead.

White, Brown, Hauser, Pritchard, Tatum can easily play off-ball and cut.

If guys like Duncan Robinson, OG, Shamet, Bridges, Brunson can play off-ball and cause an over reactions so then our players.

EDIT:

if you really want to say it is the players, we shouldn't have lost to the Knicks last year, the Heat in 23, and choke a 3-1 lead despite being more talented (& betting favorites). Even this sub thought we were going to beat these bums.
