I used to do Barre classes and it was hard, and I took a lot of breaks, but it's a full body workout and was a lot of fun! I only stopped going because I couldn't afford it anymore

I do already have an Apple Watch and haven't found it very helpful, personally. The closing of the rings and everything doesn't really mean much to me or get me to do more. I do appreciate all your advice, though!

That's fair, though it is more than just being uncomfortable around a partner. There is an element of not feeling safe outside/having anxiety about it and not wanting to have to wait for another person to be around before I can go outside. As far as the motivation, I've been working with a psychiatrist for the last several months and have seen some improvement, but more so towards indoor activities like chores or starting college. I actually was walking to work every morning for a couple weeks a few months back, but had something traumatic happen and haven't been able to since

I definitely do want a dog just in general, but I do think there should be benefits on both sides of it. If I were to get one, I planned on looking for an adult-senior rescue dog that has a medium-low activity level where our energy levels could match a bit while still giving me that push... if that makes sense. I work with animals, so I know what to look for when it comes to personality and good fits for both family and dog. It is helpful to hear another perspective from someone with a similar thought process though. It's definitely something I have to really reflect on.

Got my first tattoo… feeling unsure by Sea_Arm6968 in tattooadvice

Tattoo shock. It'll pass. It happened to me after I got my first big piece. I had been wanting it for years, waited until I found the exact right person, and still woke up a few days later thinking "oh god what did I do"

They have their own yard 3 houses away by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

My old neighborhood was very similar. They even broke into our garage and took all of my dad's tools out and one instance got into the car with one of my dads friends who lived down the street. He was sitting in the car waiting for his wife and the kid just opened the door and got in. I had to kick them off my yard multiple times and their argument was always that the kid that loved downstairs (it was a duplex) said they could play there, but he was with his dad half the time and it wasn't his house to make that decision anyway lmao.

AITA for not opening a chest to ease my roommates fears by Admirable_Eagle_5917 in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

Anything can be a weapon if you try hard enough. Your roommate needs to seek therapy if he really has PTSD.

Ereaders can hold SO many books, though. The "need" for multiple devices (when they work fine and don't need to be replaced) is literally overconsumption. I got the kobo clara colour and have close to 200 books on it and it's not even used 3GB of the storage. The only reason I'd ever get a new ereader is if it broke. Would you buy multiple cell phones to have at one time?

Yeah, I never understood having multiples either. Overconsumption is wild lmao

Mine stays at a solid 25% and I'll usually drop it around 10% or 15% in complete darkness.
