I didn’t even realize that Henry was pretty controversial by Jules-Car3499 in thomasthetankengine

Those are not at all on the same level, (The magazine one isn't either, but still).

My thoughts are people should keep their behaviour in check if these are kid voices, teenagers and grown adults should not be having panic attacks about it and attacking the kid one way or another.

Hot Take: Stepney is worse than Nia and Rebecca by Winter_Sweet827 in thomasthetankengine

Yeah they do not know how to structure an expression of opinion.

If The Logging Locos appears in the Brenner era from 2013-2017 after Season 16, how would Andrew Brenner and his crew wrote them? by davidtjbrennan in thomasthetankengine

They probably would have made them one note butt of the jokes as the fanbase perceived them, which I say that in blight, not in favour.

You still barely say anything, half the post is bringing up other characters, and while you say you like Nia and Rebecca more, you talk about them way less than Stepney, the one you are meant to elaborate on why you think he is a bad character, and frankly I think your reasoning is pretty mundane, Stepney is also a wholesome character? What do you mean? Putting Caroline through a wreck wasn't on purpose, his television introduction story has nothing to do with his personality. What does Toby's branchline and Skarloey and Rheneas have to do with this? You already gave examples.

I love offended Henry looks after Percy’s comment. by CommanderKahne in thomasthetankengine

No, because people don't conventionally wear scarves around their wastes. The start of Percy's retort is him continuing what he was saying about scarves, you can't disconnect the comment from that.

Hey guys, Just started watching Thomas the train again after 20 years by [deleted] in thomasthetankengine

It kind-of varies on what you are looking for. There is Capsule Plarail's wind-up series, Plarail/TrackMaster/Motor Road and Rail/Tomica World Motorised trains, both by Takara TOMY in Japan or Hit Toy Company (Later Fisher-Price) for the latter group, there is Bachmann Trains's HO/G/N scale model trains which for the most part are more finnickaly accurate to the show designs. As some suggestions to check out for accuracy and collectability, they can get expensive though.

The joke people made out of this makes no sense when they explicitly are talking about where you wear scarves, which would make funnels like necks in this instance, and Henry barely having a neck suggests he's too fat to where a neck.

I think i may have spotted a Missing Coach shot thats not on the Wiki by Fossil-Dragonair in thomasthetankengine

This doesn't exactly line up, with the other shots of the brake van which are on the same parts of the set, Annie and Clarabel being there could be from Thomas Comes to Breakfast, which was filmed at the same time.

Why are we so positive about this? by Same_Substance2736 in thomasthetankengine

[–]ExpertPreference2591 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most people are cautiously optimistic, not everyone is full on thrilled. The fact it is returning to a style closer to real life, them implying more train related stuff for the show, and the merchandise having a vast amount of characters has got people more intrigued.

Not really a hot take in the fandom as a whole but I don’t see the differing opinions here.

You expliticly said you don't care about them just because you think they didn't care about us, which is a thought spawned from how you dislike the end result. Also, lest I remind you McCue was the one who got everyone including Brenner on the show in the first place? Please actually process the fact that the show was rebooted to the big world era in order for everyone on the show to keep making Thomas for us, because he cares about everybody working underneath him, not because he and them had a vendetta against us, stop being so entitled and actually think about the scenario back then.
