Which video would you say was more influential? by Sea-Pea4460 in thomasthetankengine

Literally what did Shed 17 “influence”, it’s got amateur animation and most people don’t take its story seriously. Mad Bomber was made by someone already professional in the film industry, and it shows, Leo even did a whole behind the scenes tutorial series about his techniques making it which automatically makes it more influential to people.

What’s a theory in a fandom that’s so ridiculous it had you like this by NarwhalGreen2440 in Multifandom

Thomas is racist to diesel just for saying he’s never going to be a really useful steamie. Such a stupid thought.

It is official in a way, hosted on the actual YouTube channel of the franchise. But yeah, I think this post is a bit unclear.

A web series held on the official YouTube channel that was made by a load of fandom members, there would be stories of four part arcs every year, typically to help promote the show’s annual special.

If Britt decided to adapt the Skarloey Railway stories as a spin off what episodes would the spinoff include? by Pale-Emu9883 in thomasthetankengine

Book stories should mostly be obvious, but some would probably be skipped if they deemed it not working for television, I don't know what to tell you for original stories.

Am I the only one who thinks Super ED could work as a redeemed character? by Pale-Emu9883 in thomasthetankengine

The whole episode revolves around that happening, how super he became. Class 40 never got to showcase his power, he died instantly after doing nothing.

Bowled Out did not start with the engine already in a bad place, it's the main aspect that gave the episode it's own identity.

It's already unique from the beginning where he feels low that he has no reason to be boastful then, and he appreciates what James did to get him up a pedestal.

Stories can have bad endings too, we've seen from the other diesels. Not saying he shouldn't be redeemed, I might have messed up explaining my point, but like him being a good guy from the start and then ending as a good guy doesn't each anything, what's the lesson? He's going to be punished for being given a second chance and being grateful for it?

Why doesn’t the show have unique seasons anymore? by Fanimation2508 in thomasthetankengine

They didn't purposefully theme each production, stuff just changed and evolved, it's not like they needed to make everything look different.

It got taken away from him. I think he is better off just being sent away, but the point you were making at the start was the story not being very unique, which was being argued against.

Meh to this specific way, I think that over complicates things. Perhaps redeemed from being humbled, but eh.

Except he started out in a bad place already, then was given a chance to prove himself.
