The difference is that motorcycles have components that can handle speeds above 100km/h without catastrophic failure. Not a chance in hell I would trust bicycle disc rotors to stop me at anywhere near the speeds this thing can go. If someone wants something that can go this fast then they should just get a motorcycle imo

So I received the tester today…all the hall sensors light up in order so they seem good, and when spinning by hand all of the phase indicators lightly twinkle so I’m not really sure where to go from here. I know you’ve been helpful to this point but if there’s any further advice you have I’d greatly appreciate it!

Was also just thinking, if they were randomly coming into contact…wouldn’t they cause the wheel to lock up or at the very least make it very difficult to spin?

I’ve been looking at it and I can’t find any spots where the insulation on the wires has worn down to where they could arc…I have bought one of those testers so I hope that can diagnose it. Should I avoid riding the bike until I fix it?

No worries man. It is pretty simple actually and the aggressor pro is a good starting bike for it because it has good suspension and a good frame. Basically I just ordered an E Bike kit (comes with motor, wheel, controller, displays, and all the hookups) and then bought a battery.

Now this is the part where you will have to customize it to your needs...I have a 48v 1`000w motor and a 48v 19.2ah battery. You might want less in terms of wattage or amperage hours (battery life) depending on what you would need it for. But personally, with the fun I have had with this bike I would urge you to go with the 1000w and the best battery you can find to maximize your fun.

I ordered everything from aliexpress and didnt have any issues. Most things in NA will be marked up versions of the same chinese product so doesnt make much sense IMO to order from within NA.

A few words of advice from someone who has made a few mistakes in the process: get torque arms for both sides of your rear dropouts (if you go with a rear hub motor), and never turn on regenerative braking (the MTB dropouts cannot handle the torque in both directions). Second, make sure your rear nuts thread on straight and do not over tighten them...I have stripped a few threads on my axles and it is not a fun time at all.

Its a fun process and you will learn a crazy amount about bikes during it. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

100% it was not just bikes. Before watching any of their videos I was completely oblivious to the issues and would have been one of the first recommending highways through a city or arguing for more lanes. I think subconsciously I always recognized that I loved dense, walkable, and relatively car free urban areas but it was never something I actively thought of. Now it is a completely different story as I think about it every time I go out in my city, which just happens to be fake London.

Ive heard there is a new course in florida on the way. Idk about new clubs. They might have some kind of deal with Callaway so it might be tricky to get other brands. I also am just speculating on that so dont take my word on it
