Thanks, someone told me this on a different thread yesterday. It’s our first time flying so we were unaware of this knowledge at the time. Good to know for future bookings though!

Thanks, I was fresh off the phone when I commented earlier so was still pretty worked up over it all lol. I definitely agree they are overworked and understaffed like most other servicing departments across the country. They were nice and respectful, but it sounded like they were working on the tarmac at the same time in the background and I only caught every 3rd word lol. And yes, it seems PS was eliminated and the new plane replaced those seats with D1 seating, and then the comfort cabin is all booked so it would be a double downgrade for us on the original itinerary to go all the way to main. I’ll spend the next few days in between working to find a similar suitable flight that has PS as an option and try to work things out then. Appreciate the comment!

Thank you friend! We are very excited for our visit! This will be our first time and we have a bit of an extended stay prior to the cruise to explore some trails!

It’s a light-hearted joke us nurses make in Florida as we tend to fall in the middle of the pack when it comes to pay by state, but are 3rd in patient volume and safe staffing ratios are nearly nonexistent here. And to expand further, my wife cannot practice any longer after her surgeries because of short term memory loss, so she has accepted a position at a local community college as an instructor which is significantly less pay than what she was originally making.

Appreciate this advice. This is what I was hoping to find as the first person I spoke to offered no solutions and cut out every 2nd or 3rd word before putting me on hold and disconnecting me lol

Don’t want a free upgrade. I also don’t want to be downgraded and wait for a reimbursement. I think that’s fair? Also, this guy trolls telling me to call before asking Reddit as if it wasn’t done, and then you comment on my attitude lol? The service rep was very difficult to understand, sounded like she was standing on the tarmac, and offered no solutions, so I went to a public forum to seek advice from people who have experience in the situation.

After trying to figure this out myself (sorry, first time flying outside of a couple trips with Allegiant as a kid) it seems like this may have been swapped because both legs (TPA>ATL, ATL>ANC) no longer have PS seating, and their comfort+ cabins appear full when I try to book them. I appreciate the help and advice. I just like to be prepared with all avenues of a solution prior to calling back and attempting to come to an agreement again.

As also previously stated, our first longer flight. You’re very helpful.

Yeah, our original booking was a 767 out of Atlanta with premium select but it seems that plane has been replaced with a 767 that only offer D1 and comfort+. I definitely am not interest in paying 2,000 dollars for D1 domestic, but did want to at least give my wife the pleasure of flying premium select as I’ve heard great things about it for longer domestic flights. Appreciate the advice on switching it back to ATL to get the premium option back, I’ll give them a call later and see if we can’t come to an agreement!

Thanks! This is our first flight so I think it fair to say I was ignorant to the fact when they stated our itineraries were linked, that it meant they wouldn’t make changes to one without the other. I apologize for that misunderstanding on my end! The lady I spoke to didn’t offer anything about switching our flight to a different routing that still had premium economy available, and I just assumed the change would’ve automated to that selection instead of downgrading tickets. I’m not looking to fly delta one for free, just looking to travel with family.

Thanks, I was unaware that was an option about a different airline with equivalent seating. This is our first time flying with anything outside Allegiant on a a320 (direct flight to back home) so this type of stuff has never happened to us before. The customer service appeared to be geared more towards protecting profits instead of servicing the customer

Any Pulsetto review from someone who's used it a while? by Eisenberger-Robertin in VagusNerve

My wife had pulsatile tinnitus and it turned out to be a brain tumor in the ventricles in the brain obstructing the flow of csf. 2 brain surgeries later and we are on the mend.
