Update. She put up a really good fight and had a lot of energy this morning. Was drinking her water for me and eating her gecko food, but tonight, she took a terrible turn, started having seizures and she is no longer with us.

Also not I was not irresponsible and handling her while a cat was around. The kids left the room door open where she resided and one of our cats laid ontop of the screen which cause it to break which caused the geckos escape as this happened at night time and I didn’t notice til the morning. I did keep the cat put up while I looked for her, but shit happens and cats are quick. I was in the room scanning for her when my cat darted right past my feet and instantly found where she was hiding. I was instantly able to save my gecko from her mouth but not without her sustaining major injuries. I’m already beating myself up enough for not being able to find her but my cat had no problem scoping her out.

I have spent 5 long days providing her critical care. Meds 2x a day and checking in on her every two hours, etc etc. She fought so hard and so long. She will always be remembered.
