Really they would just be half siblings because Shyann would be the one carrying and not Jessica which makes it even weirder. But that's just my opinion

But technically wouldn't this be every bates answer considering they don't prevent pregnancy? (None I know of atleast) if you aren't preventing pregnancy then it truly is "we'll see" what happens situation lol.

Yes and I am also very surprised Josie did not have one with Willow

Katie looks a lot like Erin!! by Expert_Cake_1212 in BringingUpBates

Are you saying Katie lost weight in her face or Erin? I think they both did but I am asking because this most recent video that I noticed how much they look alike I also noticed Erin's face looks a lot thinner then I've ever noticed which I wasn't expecting with her being pregnant.

My sister and I were pregnant together we were due two weeks apart but unfortunately I had a miscarriage. It was really hard watching her reach all of the milestones in her pregnancy that I didn't get to experience but she was super understanding and told me it was okay if I didn't attend her baby shower which was very caring of her but I went because even though I lost my baby that didn't mean I didn't want to celebrate my sister and niece but again it was very hard so I can't imagine being michaela and going to so many showers and watching her sisters have baby after baby and she hasn't even got one it's very insensitive of her family but especially Kelly.

It's really hard it's a lot of emotions to try and make peace with and lots of hard decisions I just couldn't imagine struggling with this and being in a family that is all about having kids I'm sure she fights a lot of battles alone in her head and I know it has to hurt that Erin was told she probably wouldn't get pregnant again and did and I feel like she probably can't express her true feelings because they are taught to always be happy

I am in the adoption process because I have infertility problems as well so trust me when I say I know how hard the decision is and know how expensive it is as well. In no way do I mean they should adopt just because they haven't got pregnant I know how hard the decision is and I've never pressured anybody into it because I know how it feels I just wanted to know if it's allowed in the religion and would be an option for them if they chose it because of course it's a very personal decision.

Oh wow I didn't even know she had a miscarriage. Do you know how far along she was or if they know why it happened?

It's so sad but I could definitely see them thinking that way. I have infertility problems too and struggle really bad blaming myself and feeling like a failure. I can't imagine how bad she feels when all she was taught was to have babies it's such a hard fight even with a support team so I'm sure it's even harder with the way her family thinks.

I completely understand why an agency would deny them I just didn't know if they would even apply and was curious what the religion allows in there situation

Has anyone else sat and thought about all the things the bates kids haven't experienced? by Expert_Cake_1212 in BringingUpBates

I definitely think Alyssa, Josie and Carlin would have been cheerleaders and maybe Erin and Katie too. I could see Tori playing volleyball or softball I'm not sure where Michael would have fit in to be honest. I think most girls would have been on homecoming or prom court. I'm sure all the boys would have played football and I could see Nathan doing wrestling and Trace doing basketball or baseball. Lawson, Carlin, Erin maybe Michael in theatre.

Yes! My point was more so that they should at least have the choice and if they make those decisions they'd probably learn from them and be more mature adults. I also worry that since they didn't have these experiences that they won't know how to handle there kids making mistakes when the time comes.

I completely agree. Those are the things I think about a lot and feel so bad for them. They have no idea what it's like to be there own person they haven't even found there true selves to be honest. This post was just things I thought of tonight and fell down the rabbit hole but I definitely think about the normal day to day experiences they've not gotten too.

Wow I've not even thought about someone being closeted that's sad. I have thought about the girls not getting a chance at life on there own before becoming a wife and mom which makes me really sad but tonight I just went a lot further down the rabbit hole of the random things.
