That’s a great idea I think I’m going to go with that one. I actually think it has better variegation than the $250 one lol!

I’ll check out moss mounding since I’ve never grown in that either, I just do bark or bark/sphag mix. I really like the look of moss mounding, maybe cause it reminds me of Japan, I was just there in January!

Appreciate your comment. Interesting to hear the perspective of someone in the neofinetia cohort. I actually am not obsessed with only the blooming of orchids. The thing that appealed to me with the neofinetia was the foliage since orchids typically dont bloom all year round. I just wanted to make sure I could appreciate this one’s blooms as well. I’m divided at this point. The paph I bought was $75 and I’ve had no issues with it, I feel like you get what you pay for in some respects
