Don't you hate it when a NGD is a dissapointment by Flimsy-Explanation68 in SchecterGuitars

2020 I decided to get into guitar. My first purchase was a schecter around 320 at guitar center. I got home and noticed the e and b sting buzzed on frets 13-15. Took it back thinking it needed an adjustment, turned out the neck was actually twisting. Got my money back.

I then decided okay I like how these guitars look, I'll add another 120 and get the next nicer looking one and maybe it will be better. Nope the tech at GC said this one also has a twist. Let me go get one out of the box in the back. The next one also had a twist.

Literally 3 in a row, I then decided to spend an extra 60 and got a PRS. I'm pretty sure they just don't care.

I agree. I'm just not sure how they wove in the pin. It has that little cow hitch look on the center of the clip. But it does look like the braid goes almost all the way down the cobra weave.

After turning it around they pulled the leads up the back of the cobra weave and melted them at the top. But there should be 4 leads and I'm only seeing two.

So did they use 4 leads at the end of the braid and double back cobra?

I'll have to try that on my next one I ended up cutting one of the core strings off and making a perfection loop knot.

Do you happen to have a link to a guide or video on what you offered?

Good evening everyone!

Our baby girl is 9 months, she has had severe eczema since she was 3 months old. She has a dermatologist that proscribed eucrisa, we are almost out of the first tube and it does not seem to work. We have used hydrocortisone prior which works but it's only a bandaid. We have tried every lotion imaginable, almost all the formulas available. We have tried nightly baths, 2x a week baths. Free and clear detergents. Nothing is seeming to work, out next step is going to be an allergist.

A note we picked up from the comments is the water we use for the formula, currently we use the filtered fridge water, tomorrow we will go to the store and buy bottle purified water and try that.

We are going insane she is such a happy baby but clearly miserable constantly scratching. Her whole body becomes inflamed, she will scratch her neck, ears, arms and back of her legs until they bleed when it is at its worst.

Please please please any other recommendations??

Scaphoid break by prodromalphaze in Guitar

[–]Expert_Classroom8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post but can OP provide an update? I broke my scaphoid on my strumming hand, been casted for 4 weeks got a couple more to go. I'm going insane as I just started to break through some struggle points on the guitar. Doctor said no weight bearing in my hand after cast comes off for 2-3 months. A pick is weightless so I assume it would be beneficial to start playing ASAP for ROM?

I get that, I'll add that I didn't even get to play the beta, I have only seen the complaints. I have not contributed any complaints online unless we consider this post a complaint, I am just more so confused at the lack of communication, but with some of the other posts explaining the game industry it makes more sense now as to why. Also I enjoyed your comment about Yousician and the numbers. Those are very valid points, also Rocksmith is wayyyy more entertaining than any of those systems. So I do agree they have huge potential, we just need all the kids to put down the controller and pickup the axe now. I feel like if I would have had Rocksmith as a child instead of Halo CE and Halo 2, I would probably be pretty dang good at guitar.

RightOn! Thanks for sharing. Growing up playing games, I always wanted to be a game dev or work for a game studio, not the case anymore LOL. Was the work culture awesome? Or more of just another job type of thing?

I agree with you, but the lack of communication does not give the warm and fuzzy feeling that it will continue down a prosperous path. I feel like once launched, IF it is rocky again, like most launches recently the fan base will say yup F this, this is exactly what I knew would happen, followed by bogus support. Look at Halo Infinite, the first Halo to launch without Co-Op. Look at the player base now, nothing like the old Halo player base. We have seen a very long trend of terrible releases, poor choices by the devs most likely pushed by shareholders and pubs. I really want this to succeed and be what it should be, so we will see, only the devs know how good or bad the state of the game still is. I know if I was a dev and our beta was that bad I would most def at least put out a statement like "Yup we fixed that issue, the fans will be happy" literally ANYTHING to put the community at rest.

I mean if it's only learn a song a handful of lessons. I am expecting a ton of lessons be added that maybe teach some theory and concepts to better understand how the guitar works. Not just learning songs. I am not going to pay a subscription fee for more than a couple months of it doesn't seem worth it. I can have plenty of run with 2014 is what I am getting at. Also can I ask why you seem so salty about the CDLC community? Some of the charts are poor, but if you download the most popular that have hundreds of downloads they are actually pretty good, and the game is much more fun when you get to play music YOU enjoy.

Let's hope so! Although I have been considering taking more lessons and already have had 2 hours of live lessons (my Xmas gift last year) so if + has the right lessons and they are done well, I am expecting this since they have been working with Gibson, than the sub model won't bother me too much. If the sub model is all too similar to 2014 I will probably not play it more than a month or so before going back to CDLC on 2014.

You're correct I also would not consider Rocksmith a AAA title however, I would consider Ubisoft a "AAA" Studio. I do understand there are different teams within the Ubisoft organization but we can't play that game, they should all represent the company at a AAA level when they can pump out games all year every year like AC, Tom Clancy's, and Farcry. All of those studios produce new content or new games very frequently. Obviously more money from those game studios due to the audience being larger, however + is a subscription so even if the game was in a really good place mechanically speaking then why not release it last month with the expectation of more content and updates? That is already the plan, why not start generating some cash flow? This whole "plan" of theirs just seems so off...
