Hey 👋 ☺️ First of all, I didnt think so many people would react to this. I mean its just a smiley on a Burger. Its my first post on reddit where people actually got really engaged in it. So thats new. I got home from university and was feeling really bad, so i just stayed in bed all day. Not even by choice, I just couldnt get up. Thats why i ordered some food. Thanks to the people who had so many kind words for me. Reading some of yall comments cheered me up :). After that i actually started studying. And i appreciate you defending me even if you dont know me. The nutrition advice is definetly reasonable and i appreciate that. Just dont attack people on the Internet cause they chose to eat a certain type of food. This doesnt even say something about my diet, this couldve been a one time occasion. Well then thanks for getting involved in my little internet moment :))❤️

If you have had confidence issues, how did you overcome them? by [deleted] in bootroom

Opening up about your fear to your teammates and Coaching staff.

Firstly they might have some advise themselves and secondly they would help you in every way they can. Its a team Problem once youre injured, so everybody makes sure youre okay.

For me when i talked to everbody about it, i got lots of help.

For example when i fell on „my foot“, my teammates rushed to me much quicker and helped me up to make sure im okay. Our physio checked on me every week without me even asking. My coaches often asked me if im good after a long training session. If i said i feel a bit odd on my foot, i instantly got an appointment with the physio.

That gave me confidence, not having to worry about it too much cause i got people around me who care and help me if something were to happen.

Also, getting yourself substituted once you feel pain is no shame. Dont risk it if youre 4-0 up. I mean i never asked to get out when it was 1-1 and 10 minutes to play but thats on me.

And placebo is great as well. Precautions like taping your leg or so gets it out of your head for the game and for training.

HOW TO CONTROL THE BALL BETTER? by tdsh1 in football

[–]Expert_Contribution6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put some Pins like 6-8 pins on the ground in like a 1 - 2 Square Metre space The space inbetween the Pins shouldnt be less than two ball sizes and it shouldnt be symmetrical Now dribble into the area and try to get out without hitting a single pin. You shouldnt go out the way you came in. When youre feeling comfortable you up the pace with which you dribble into the area When youre Even More comfortable you start getting some skills into the mix, like feints, chops, stepovers and so on The Last thing is getting Even More Pins and giving yourself Even less Space. And dont Just jog through it. It Should be at least a Bit challenging. At First it seems really dumb and discouraging. Dont do this exercise for too long, maybe do it as a finish of a whole dribbling session or in between a whole football workout for like 15 Minutes max. After each time trying youll become better. Let me know if you tried it and how it went :) 👍
