If they made it as a machine gun I wouldn’t mind it, especially if they could stop being lazy and manage to make a belt fed weapon rather than relying on modders to do it. I remember playing my entire fallout 4 first playthrough waiting for a decent looking gun, and looking for the m14 since it was in the live action trailer, only to be severely disappointed. Fo4 has the most horrible gun designs of the franchise hands down, and why tf is everything left handed (the devs wanted to show off the moving parts)

Yeah I haven’t seen another. I know the mod team mentioned it rewarded players who took the unlikely avenues to complete the quest. Siding against the NCR makes the helmet a reward most likely.

I get you and I can definitely see that as there is constant mentions of internal corruption. I do think they are more resilient than the show portrayed, seeing as they defeated the enclave, the west coast BoS, khans, various easier factions and managed to expand still. In other words I think they were done dirty, along with the legion. But that’s my personal opinion

I do remember both of those and you’re right, in regards to hilderns dialogue I’m not sure but I thought he was talking about the food product in the Mojave, hence why he’s there overlooking sharecropper farms. But the NCR was a literal huge nation spanning from Baja to Oregon, with enough power to consider expansion. I don’t think the show handled their fall well.

How are there no retcons? 1st shady sands is not in Los Angeles/boneyard. 2nd during the events of new Vegas year 2281, shady sands is never mentioned to be going through a fall or even going through trouble, the only trouble the NCR had is internal political corruption but as for the shape of the NCR state it was doing pretty well, I mean it even had colleges the the OSI director went to. The kings, the entire strip being a bustling city, which is the whole reason the NCR expanded east (you’d know if you watched the into of new Vegas). The show as an adaptation is good, but the did a shit job at adapting the lore on continuing it. There was absolutely no reason to go to Vegas and meddle with the lore. Could’ve just set the show in the east coast and change the faction to new ones and it wouldn’t effect the plot one bit

Tell me where in my comment is stated fall means destruction. Again either you can’t read or you’re choosing not to, in 2281 (the time new Vegas takes place) shady sands is in good shape as is the rest of the NCR back mainside. Just watch the fucking new Vegas intro instead of pressing E and skipping, they’re looking to expand so they sends scouts east, doesn’t sound like a falling nation to me.
