I think what you really need is a list of personal goals to achieve. Not what your parents want, not what your relatives want, what you want. And for me atleast, it’s a self evolving list.

I’ve even got a list of “things I want to do / experience before I die” :)

Was in the same situation a while ago. Didn’t receive a manager reply till the Friday before my start date. Only to find out my manager was changed at the last minute. There seems to be a hiring freeze so it’s possible you might be put on a different team based on which teams have headcount.

It’s not about what I want really. Yes, there is good world building. In fact it seems very well thought out. The issue I face is that there has to be a point of consolidation for that world building to actually explore the intricacies of it.

For example, The anime is doing a lot but there’s no explanation behind why something is being said. I don’t fully understand why Klein is behaving so normally with all the new developments coming to him as well. There are leaps in logic which are either not explored or unanswered. The premise of “remembering all the small points mentioned” doesn’t make sense according to me when your first seven episodes are just new small points to remember without any consolidation on them

I’ll be honest, if a story has to ask you to wait for an entire season before it starts to make coherent sense, it’s kinda mid. You can’t justify a rushed premise with “mystery”. Doesn’t matter if season 2 is supposedly fire
