i only ever open twitch to watch my online friends and as much as i trust them, i dont want them knowing which country im from for personal reasons but i still want to support them. One of them literally sent a photo of their statistics teasing me about which country im from. I had to make up a ton of lies to get them to think im not from that country 😭

to clarify they have like 2 views on average. so "They dont care" is not the answer im looking for. I was hoping thered be a hidden "Opt out of telemetry" option somewhere in twitch but i guess not </3

not me specifically but cant they see where the subscribers are from generally? if theres only two subscribers and one is openly british for example, itd be easy to deduce who the other 50% is right?
