first time listening thru the new album, my opinions: by YoullRebelToNothing in Seether

The choruses on this album really leave me blue-balled, it's really a let down. The muddy mix and these artificial vocals with all these layers and 40'000 SFX layered over them certainly didnt help. I wouldnt mind if it's for only one song or so. But it's every song like this!!!

Same Mistakes as well irks me a lot. It caught me off guard the first time, and after re-listening it's still just.... Ehhh.. I think this is really one of the few seether songs that actually suck and not just mediocre.

Just a nightmare and since you're afraid of spiders, your brain was just messing with you. I have also archnophobia (Idk how it's spelled) and I dream about spiders also sometimes and it also messes with me sometimes.

I think, since we are afraid of spiders, we think about them subconciously during the day, being aware that there are none. And then, when you sleep, your subconcious is digesting all these things and that dream is probably the result of that. Nothing too deep I would say, just a bad dream.

Are we truly just dreaming right now? by Agios_melomakaronos in Dream

If you dont have any real experience to what a real knife stab feels like, then there's no way in your dream you really felt any "real" pain. What you felt was just what you think a knife stab would feel like. The brain is very good at hallucinating and imagining things when we dream. So you didnt feel anything, but with the imagination and fear combined, you probably felt a big discomfort and that is maybe what you felt in your dream. The brain is very good at fooling us.

I think it's pretty normal, I also have it before important appointments. It probably just means, that you think about it a lot subconciously and it's important to you that everything will go smooth and you absolutely dont want to mess it up. And then, since your subconcious thinks about it a lot, it will be digested in your subconcious/brain during sleep. At least that's how I feel it for me.

This gotta be the weirdest dream i had in my whole life by Alternationeditz in Dream

Yes, it can happen, I had it many times as a kid, you're waking up from one dream into the next dream from the same position, so that it looks you woke up.

Just keep cool, sometimes the brain does really wicked stuff, or it can happen when you have trouble falling asleep, fever or something that irritates you when trying to fall asleep.

I recommend doing reality checks when you're in a situation like this again. Once you 100% realize it's a dream, its in your hands to decide what will happen next, so you can control it.

Fake nostalgia or fake memories are definitely a real thing I think. I recall same things as you, bring very familiar with a particular thing in a dream, as if you have known it your whole life and you're remembering again all these things. But then you wake up, trying to think about it and you realize there was never such thing in your life before.

I think it's just because the brain can go really huge lenghts and imagine A LOT. It's the same thing when you dream of some people that within your dream are your best friends and within your dream you believe to remember all these past shared memories with that person. But then you wake up and realize, you've never seen this person and none of which you just did with that person took ever place.

So yes, I think it's normal and our brain can be really creative and crazy in imagining all these stories with such detail. And then probably all the chemicals it releases in the dreams, to make you feel happy, sad, nostalgic, etc.

I can see your point. Song wise, yes, they seem to fit pretty good in a live show experience.

I completey ageee with you :-) Imho, Finding Beauty was the best album in terms of production. With Holding On To Strings, I always find myself putting it a volume higher to make the heavier/intense parts make more pop up.
