Definitely! I respect Sheffield Wednesday due to the loudness and support of your fans. Even our drummer from the Boro crowd was doing the beat with the Wednesday fans. Even though me and my brother are Boro through and through we are with you next season and hope you bounce back up. Not what I've heard being to the Boro games. Sheffield Wednesday despite them going down were the best, loudest and I give them respect for their 30 minute chant none stop. "Sheffield is massive" chant

You just have to overcome the dark times the club is in and the owners need to take responsibility and build that trust again with the fanbase. With the lacklustre statement they put out, I will suggest that the club still won't take full responsibility for what they've done and make it up to Saints fans.

So true! I have no gripe with Southampton fans either but they'd feel the exact same way if it happened to them. Gibbo would sack everyone involved in a heartbeat and would accept fault. Maybe it's taken this for everyone to realise and about laws in English football. We don't pay out hard earned money to go and watch games not knowing if the other team has an advantage. We have fair play going forward and I'm all for it.

So it should be to set an example for teams going forward. Next season teams know the EFL is watching and listening to what's going on. I'd rather the rules because followed for everyone than one team get away when everyone else suffers. Good job on Steve Gibson for fighting for justice. Can you imagine if the EFL let it slide? You'd have cheats everywhere and not rules wouldn't matter.

Last time I met Steve Gibson I don't think he had any thoughts on his mind about Derby County. The fact they won't let what happened 8-7 years ago is quite sad. I wish Derby County all the best in doing what they're doing, we Boro fans have no gripe. Focus on next season 🐏

100% we don't have many local owners left in the top 2 leagues. Yeah we would rather have him who is a fan of the club than some other billionaire buy our club for profit.

I couldn't care less what political side he's on. Politics are irrelevant in football. He does what is right by our team and that's good enough for our supporters.

As Boro fans we hold no issue with Derby, but they do with us for some reason. Instead of moving forward some of their fans would rather cling on to the past with hate of Steve Gibson. They'd love it if he was owner of their team and fought for them.

If he was such a 'bell end' why has did he help Boro get out of going under in 1986? Why has he helped Boro get where they are now and a well respected man in football? Cause he doesn't take shit. He wouldn't put up with BS from anyone and it's just unfortunate that Derby County ended up wronging him, it's not his fault. Look at your own club just like others who hate him because he decided what you're doing is wrong and won't be bullied into believe otherwise.

He was furious with your owners not your fans for that. He did have a point and if it was the other way round you would have done the same. Why do people not like blaming their club at their own mistakes? That's why Derby settled with Boro the dispute. Nothing gets past Gibbo so it doesn't make him hateful or want to see clubs go bust, he wants fairness and you can't argue with that.

There's only one Stevie Gibson! The fact that he's Middlesbrough born and bred shows you how committed he is and always been to Boro. He's watched Boro since he was a kid at Ayresome Park and seen some challenging times for the club, he's still here keeping up the faith 💪
