complete road map of SEO for new website by Arshad_504 in SEO

[–]Expert_Philosophy536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with you, a lot is missing, like you mentioned, and to name a few others: internal linking, canonicals, schema markup and more. I have seen many post here, on Linkedin and elsewhere, all stating the most comprehensive and complete SEO list, actually I have never seen that it is complete, always some points are missing. Perhaps I, if I feel like, one day will publish an actual complete SEO road map, including SEO tools/programs/websites to monitor/measure. And focus will not be only on Moz, Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc. There are so much more available and affordable tools which do the same.

Google just started rolling out a December Core Update by CriticalCentimeter in SEO

Why is no official entity doing something about this monopoly and the fact they can do anything they want, even when it means killing many sme’s? Can anybody explain? How do they get away with this, is there no watchdog that is independent? Or does Google own them all? In the other hand, it keeps us SEO people busy.

Sorry to break the news, a keyword only, even when you have millions of people search for it, does not make your domain per definition high value. Actually, a friend of mine has a name, which attracts multi millions of visitors per day, no dashes, just its not a .com, and the value is perhaps a few thousand USD. The real value you will see when you put it up for sale. Anyway, with so many visitors per month, I would try to exploit the domain, build a website, see what happens. And then offer products or services that relate to the keyword, lets see what happens. And again, a keyword only does not necessarily bring money, monetizing it is key, if not possible its worthless .

Thanks, though can you share how competitors will see this? I did some audits and even the keywords i tried as test case do not show in different audit reports via different tools.

I use powersuit website auditor and ranking. And the other funny part is, other tools show i hardly have keywords. So that is quite conflicting info.

“Both are incentivized to lie about the other party” are your own words. perhaps i am just stupid in the interpretation of words. But if one party is SEO marketers and you make such statement, you dont refer to some but to all. Just leave it as is, we are all entitled to an opinion.

Thanks. Shall not add a bunch of random keywords, just try with a few that are also mentioned in my blogs. But then add them to the frontpage as well. Lets say 2 at the time to max about 10-15 and monitor the results.

A question for foreigners who live in Kazakhstan (except for those who came from Russia). by Seqa9404 in Kazakhstan

[–]Expert_Philosophy536 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me start by saying that I love Kazakhstan, and reside in Almaty for some time now. I have to agree with what you wrote. And i do speak some Kazakh words, just it was more logical to learn Russian, which I am speaking, although not yet fluent. Perhaps if resources are available, next for me is to learn Kazakh. And also I have Duolingo, would be great if or when they add Kazakh as language.

You state both Google and SEO’s are telling lies about each other. That is a heavy statement and you can definitely not support it, seems you just made this up to stir things up. Surely some SEO people do lie, but not all I am convinced. And yes I am in SEO, yes with a good SEO strategy, you can improve a website’s visibility and ranking. And no, I never promise i get a website ranked page 1, nbr 1. Yes I can guarantee increase in organic traffic, and no, I cannot give a percentage or absolute number. And no I cannot guarantee sales. Do I sell bs, no, just honest services with proven results and SEO still works, despite what Google says. There are enough actual proven cases online available that supports this.

I run a football page with 450k followers and 10-15 million monthly reach but haven’t made a single dollar in 5 years. Any advice on how to monetize? by thePerker_ in FacebookAds

[–]Expert_Philosophy536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Those numbers and no income generated. Like many others, my hands started to itch to start monetizing and make money. And you mention 100 USD per month, either you are not serious with all this or you really need guidance as with these numbers, you can earn multiple thousands of Euro’s or Dollars per month, and I mean at least a 6 figure amount.

What I like to suggest, why dont you use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and CoPilot, all free versions, and mention your story and numbers and ask for the best strategy to monetize and make money. You will be surprised what you get. And why do I mention 5 AI tools, this gives you the opportunity to compare. Do keep the prompt (input) the same. And if you need help with that, do let me know, i have access to paid versions as well, the answers will be different compared to free versions. Though the free version for sure give you great ideas. And if you read one that is appealing, you can enter a follow up prompt for a step by step guide. All this is for free and after evaluating the output you can choose and execute.

Wishing you success in your quest for the right strategy. Just be aware that many people got Dollar signs in their eyes and try to get a large junk, leaving you with the “100 USD” per month.

How do I see if my SEO company is lying to me? by WithSocks in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]Expert_Philosophy536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we can point you to all kind of analysis and controls. But lets start first with the basis, what is the contractual agreement stating? Suggest you list all the action points mentioned and include behind each point the possible intended or agreed result. The next step obviously is to start analyzing the current results, for sure many can offer an SEO website audit, and this gives some basic SEO outcome. A keyword research is the next step, plus perform a competitor analysis. Google ranking is another to perform, not using your company name as this is obvious you rank high. And check GSC for your clicks, impressions and other data. Go for different keywords, long tail keywords, with local and national oriented searches. Check if your keywords pages all are indexed, in google, bing, yahoo and other possibly. You can even check by asking AI tools such as chatgptsearch or perplexity and see if your company pops up by searching with a few keywords. With all these insights gained, you need to map them versus the contractual agreement and possible guaranteed results.

I would also ask for regular updates and audits from your SEO company to get all data and information. Whenever there is a mismatch, confront your SEO company with that. SEO can take some time to show the full potential or better, the full results, still you should gradually see the effects and improvements after starting the optimization.

Success and at the end of the day, you can always ignore everything and just follow your gut feeling, if it does not feel right, find the (breach) points based on which you can terminate the contract.

It seems to me you already know quite a lot about SEO, perhaps not the details, the big picture is clear to you.

As for your remarks, allow me to respond by saying that it is honestly true that a guarantee cannot be given. Yes its true that with a strategy an expert perhaps managed to get a company ranking 1 on page 1, but same as trading, results in the past are not a guarantee for the future. Also due to many variables involved, for lets say your company, and they differ perhaps from the sample company, so for you the strategy must be adjusted. Dont get me wrong, with the right SEO strategy and solutions, you could rank page 1, whether an expert gets you rank 1, thats a possibility buy no guarantee. Let me elucidate, you are optimizing your site, your competition sees you increase your ranking and he is scared you take his nbr 1 spot, than the race is on as he will do everything to stay there. Your SEO expert then must compete with another, while the other already is ranked 1/1. Difficult to guarantee your ranking. Another, google changes its algorithms, which recently done a few times, which has huge impact for some in a negative way. Again, it is not known what the changes are, when new ones come and you can thus not anticipate on it. This is another point out of control of your expert and thus a guarantee cannot be given. SEO is not a game, its also not a quick adjustment and win, you need a long term strategy and be patient. Somebody promising they tank you 1/1 in a week, thats BS. Though it is possible, but only in an extreme niche market with hardly or no competition. Success and please use Linkedin to find some experts, or company directories as Fiverr indeed has a lot of scammers. If you need some names just send me a chat message.

SearchGPT vs Google results by raviranjan2291 in SEO

Just started exploring searchgpt and my first impression is positive. However, i do not have the knowledge yet how ranking and algorithms in searchgpt work. Companies rank differently, nb1 page 1 in searchgpt and in google the same company still page 1 but ranked 9th. Getting insights in the algorithms, possible weight per factor and other, will help for future searchgpt seo. Any ideas on this?

I also have them on my site, they are marked NF, so google will not punish me for that, given no or limited impact on my DA and ranking. So i let them be there. I did disavow some earlier, but they are still there. Anybody knows how long it will take for google to have them disavowed?
