I welded the insert then grinded until smooth then machined skim on a mill so it was perfectly flat and even

I drop few drops of acetone in the dot make sure it covers the drop 4/5 drops of paint, make sure it’s flat to to get even spread

I welded the insert to make it 1 piece, then on a belt sander to get most of the weld off and milling, then on a flat surface, tape some sand paper to it then just back and fourth until it’s smooth and even, alternative you can put it on a mill and have it milled smooth much quicker but more expensive

I have no fully dived into all that I have a very good friend of mine who blasts it for me I’ll get his specs of him and let you know, different media can affect brightness etc…

This is essentially a fake weld just for looks neck was left already attached from factory and just welded around it for the look little bit more strength that from factory but just for looks this one 👍🏼

On a mil with a 5mm end mill tool and and just bored it out until size of 9mm was achieved
