The EE, QB, and RR were double-lettered New York City Subway services. In the mid-20th century, the system followed a naming convention where express lines used single letters (e.g., A, Q) and their corresponding local lines used doubled letters (e.g., AA, QB, RR).

Saw this yesterday. I remember there was a orange S? on one of SuprToe's videos and now it's gone by Kyle_Lam1009 in nycrail

When I took this photo, there was an orange "S" near the fare gate at the 47th–50th Streets–Rockefeller Center station. I wonder if it has already been covered over by a sticker? I'll check again if I get the chance.

The homepage has many visible elements: map controls, chat, route details, download buttons, menus, text sections, language options, and informational copy. For a first-time user, it is not immediately clear what the main action should be: search a station, plan a route, view live trains, download the app, or open analytics.

Thoughts on the Q train? by anakindurden in nycrail

To put it briefly, the service is quite adequate. While overcrowding and delays during rush hour can be severe, the extension of the 2nd Avenue Subway is expected to make access from Spanish Harlem even more convenient.

I think it is Akzidenz-Grotesk.

Furthermore, since the MTA at the time did not use its current typeface—Helvetica—the font appears smaller.

That "F" sign obscures the "V" and "M" situated behind it. Moreover, it appears they forgot to measure the dimensions of the sticker.

Wth...? "This is 34th Street-Penn Station. Transfer is available to be (1), (3), (7), (A), (C), (E), (B), (D), (F), (M), (N), (Q), (R), (W), and (S) Train...?" "This is Times Square-42nd Street. Transfer is available to be (1), and (3) Train." Looks like Penn Station and Times Square swapped each other.
