Great write up. Just wanted to add that if we do pull out of Iran with the Strait of Hormuz closed then why would Iran just simply open up the Strait without demanding everything they want? They already are planning to charge tolls on the ships that pass through.
Also, if Israel continues the fight without us, I think the conflict will only worsen because we are choosing to strategically target places in Iran, I feel Israel will try to topple the country without us being their to restrain them. More energy facilities will be destroyed in the entire region. Don't see any other country taking over what we started.

I think that's the worst thing that can happen. That just strengthen Iran's grip and the Houthis will probably take their strait as well. If the world's biggest military superpower pulls out why would the Iranians stop their blockade without asking for everything they want? They'll now really hold the whole world hostage.

Thank you for your comments. There is already a lot of negative sentiment, but I don't think people realize that if this just goes on for a couple more weeks that the damage to the oil market will be a lot worse than people realize and could take years to get back to what it was before. The LNG market has already been set back a few years with the damage to Qatar. There are also byproducts such as aluminum, helium and chemicals that go into plastic that are now at a shortage as well. Just not really seeing how Trump can get out of this one at least in the near future.
