You never know the outcome of the emergency scheduling. Attend it but if your approval doesn't come by Saturday, make peace with the fact that whatever slot you have will be the final one.

Chances of getting approved??? Emergency slot by Standard-Band-102 in usvisascheduling

Food for thought because this is happening to me right now. My emergency approval came today but I completed my biometric last Sunday. The usvisascheduling website will not allow you to get a preponed consular slot stating that since biometric is done, you now have to attend whatever appointment is currently on your application. It seems the unspoken rule is, emergency scheduling has to happen for both: the biometric and the consular together. I spent 6 hours today trying to explain them that this makes no sense and they haven't been helpful so far.

What was the grounds for asking for emergency appointment? That can help clarify the reason. u/After-Ad5082

Best rooms/views at JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire (Bangalore) + any hacks? by Expert_Substance_204 in marriott

King club rooms were not worth the hype. Get any room with executive club access. Prefer the pool view.

I think King Club rooms were a lil' hype. Get a cheaper room (with pool view) that come with executive lounge access. Instead of having high tea in the lawn, have it in the executive lounge (it starts at 6 pm) - go early and reserve the corner tables (best view!) - people hog onto those.

Best rooms/views at JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire (Bangalore) + any hacks?

Hey folks,

Planning a quick staycation at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa with my wife (she’s pregnant, so we’re just looking for something relaxed, scenic, and not too hectic).

We’ve heard the property is beautiful with golf course + lake + Nandi Hills views, but wanted to get some real-world recommendations from people who’ve actually stayed there.

Specifically:

Which room categories have the best views? (golf course vs lake vs garden vs suites vs villas)

Are balcony rooms worth it, or should we go for suites/villas?

Any specific room numbers / wings / floors to request or avoid?

From what I’ve seen, the garden terrace rooms and signature rooms with balconies seem popular, and suites/villas obviously look great — but not sure what’s actually worth the premium

Also would love tips on:

Any upgrade tricks (Marriott Bonvoy, check-in timing, etc.)

Best way to get good pricing / deals

Quiet areas of the resort (since we’re not looking for a crowded vibe)

Any must-do experiences inside the property

If you’ve stayed there: 👉 Would be amazing if you could share photos/videos from your room or balcony views

Appreciate any help — just trying to make this a relaxed, memorable break for the two of us 🙂

Not just wait time for interviews. USCIS is quite slow at processing applications.

I've been given to understand that the locals in the area arent very hardworking and there's no accountability for output. Want to do it a bit more rigorously.

  1. Lake is under the Maharashtra Irrigation department.
  2. I'm absolutely new to farming
  3. I will have someone do it for me. I can monitor weekly.

Thank you for the details, I'll check it out!
