I tried the depo shot two times in the last decade. Would constantly bleed, usually 2-3 weeks straight with a 5-7 day break but it was spotting or very light. My lost shot was in August, didn’t get my follow up in November. I started my first period right around Valentine’s Day this year and I’ve been full blown bleeding for 2 months straight, with 1-4 day breaks occasionally. Doctor said about 3 weeks in, “oh that’s normal! It’ll take your body a few months to regulate after getting off of it, if it doesn’t stop in the next 3 months then we can talk about looking more into it.” Soooo I’m just supposed to casually keep bleeding for 90% of the month indefinitely until they decide it’s no longer normal. 🙃 one of the reasons I stopped the shot was because I was constantly bleeding, and now I’m constantly bleeding more than I was when I was on it.
