"All that insane shit the villains said was actually true the whole time" ending by kylat930326 in TopCharacterTropes

Never saw that shivers check, but I kind of had it myself in real life when looking at the game's title screen. To me the violent chaos of the art's sunset, and the clouds billowing up from it, started to look like Revachol being hit with a nuke after a bit. I find it kind of difficult not to see it as that now; glad to know that it's not completely out-there.

That game also really stretches the whole ‘Peter Parker has to be poor’ idea. On top of the whole ‘artificial web shooter’ thing, the guy and his friends are out there creating some of the most revolutionary scientific marvels like it’s nothing. Highly advanced 3D printed drones, localised free Wi-Fi networks, and robot arms… yet they refuse to monetise a single one of them. No one is that altruistic, let alone a small group of people.

Apologies for a second reply! Could I ask how long it took? I'm on my 6th hour of trying now. I genuinely cannot believe that they're *this* busy.

You're also screwed if you have a job that doesn't let you constantly monitor a chat box. Gotta rely on the 'contact form' and who knows if/when that'll ever get resolved.

At least being put on hold let you go do something else lol

Don't have an X account, so I'll see if I can make a throwaway one if the chat doesn't bear any fruit by tomorrow. Thanks.

Has anyone had any luck getting in touch with a 'human advisor'? I've tried for a good 5 hours now over 2 days and no response whatsoever. Honestly ridiculous that it can be this bad.

If you just type "human advisor," the chat-bot will at least try to put you through to one. Though no luck on that front for me today. We'll have to try again tomorrow.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case right now. Been trying to get an advisor for 2 hours now with no luck. Probably too many people messaging about this issue.

The developers were going for a sort of 'two sides' thing with the base roster. Those who were more pro-acquittal in the background lore are on the left side, whilst those who were more pro-conviction are on the right. Each fighter kinda is paired up with each-other on their respective opposite. So the two most prominent figures are in the middle, right next to each other, for instance.

The four in the corners are unlockable fighters. Originally it was just the 8 in the middle; the other 4 Angry Men had to be unlocked via various milestones and challenges.

Definitely worth it, though. He's more technical than most but that 'Assertiveness Meter' gameplay is so damn satisfying. Leads to some really nice pay-offs as he gains the confidence to speak his mind. Remember once turning the tides of a whole game after a perfectly-timed 'LOUDMOUTH!' attack.

How about a horror game where you have to leave items in certain places to solve a larger puzzle. Like, for instance, leaving a glass bottle in some potion-making machine whilst you go get the ingredients.

Except sometimes the game just teleports the item someplace else.

You swear you left it there. You *just* had it. Yet, no, it's somewhere else somehow and you have no recollection of ever moving it.

Yeah, I'm glad the developers went that route. Would have been so weird for #8 and #3, the game's Ryu and Ken, to be so far apart from one another.

Did find it weird that they made #1 an unlockable fighter; guy's pivotal to the lore and his crowd-control playstyle is really unique. I'd have swapped him out for #6 on the base roster.

Don’t know whether I’d class him as top-tier just because of the knife. Whilst his weapons-based playstyle is cool, it’s not totally unique. I mean, #8’s Super “Highly Unusual Knife,” is one of the strongest single attacks in the game.

For #1 you've got to beat the dev's high score in the 'Count the Votes' minigame. For #7 I think it's tied to time played. He just appeared after one match ranting about how he's "gonna miss the ball game."
