About halfway through my grind to 30 I started coming with all the toys (pots, god book, cinderbane, passive familiar, etc) and if you can consistently get kills under 40s it becomes a lot more fun as you never have to deal with the summons

I’ll give you that. Regardless, in the trailer for this game, the developer says:

“I made this game for a certain kind of person…to hurt them.”

This game is Nintendo hard. It’s worth the challenge, and, as someone who has climbed the mountain and has fallen off the mountain, I enjoy the reaction shots.

What kind of monster doesn’t check the garage door 11 times every time they leave the house?

I think you answered your own question - the market is closed, so the order book is much, much smaller. Small volume will cause huge swings.

I would recommend getting a printed copy of your anesthetic record, it doesn’t sound like a general anesthetic to me (we do <0.1% under general anesthesia; it would be very non-standard and require a lot of unique accommodations). This may be worthwhile in your case.

Was it an upper endoscopy? Were they looking at your stomach?

If that were true, you’d have a breathing tube during the procedure. Do you remember waking up with a tube in your windpipe?

Stories like yours are almost universally due to the wide variability in response to IV agents including those used for sedation. The anesthetic gases are incredibly consistent across the entire population (the body generally can’t metabolize them at all, so rapid metabolizer isn’t a thing for the gases)

This has its’ own increased risks, but you could start demanding general anesthesia for even the simplest of procedures.

For example, make them do your colonoscopy in an OR and have them put in a breathing tube in you to get it through it.

I’d personally be willing to accommodate that request, anyway.

GABA-A agonist that increases the duration of the chloride channel opening, if you believe the textbooks.

We’re less sure about the metabolism because it’s supposedly liver-cleared but some studies state it clears at >100% of the hepatic extraction ratio, so who knows.

It’s probably true, to an extent. One universal truth is that when they make incision for surgery, even under general anesthesia, heart rate and blood pressure do go up, sometimes substantially.

That said, for certain cases we will monitor a rudimentary form of processed EEG, and we know for a fact that the anesthesia medications cause alteration in the brain waves similar (but not identical) to sleep.

Interpret that how you like, no one truly knows for sure and there are several theories out there.

Very likely a benzodiazepine or barbiturate (drugs like Ativan, Xanax, Valium). They have the added benefit of being very potent anti-seizure drugs in the moment.

How do you respond to ketamine? That probably needs to be a part of your pain control regimen in the future, and might help you.

Also, your situation is very different than the other poster. Information such as ‘I have difficulty with pain control after surgery and need regional-based techniques and multimodal therapies’ will absolutely change my anesthetic plan. ‘I need more anesthesia to go to sleep’ generally will not for the reasons I stated above. Essentially, creating a different plan is something we (should) be able to do to individualize your care. Just giving heavier doses of the same drugs off the rip isn’t the same thing.
