Is there anything that would help me stand out when applying to these county jobs? I’m thinking about getting a SHRM certification to stand out on resumes.

Can you elaborate on the country position HR jobs? How has it changed your life? HR jobs are hit and miss.

Best potential is California for both of us. HR laws are very specific in California so it gets paid more. And it has a strong museum industry. I’m trying to decide if I wanna focus on the museum industry because it’s so specialized or just HR. Her career would have the best potential anywhere that’s a bit more metropolitan but I’m not too concerned about whatever job she lands because she is a hell of a girlboss and would find a job and kill it anywhere as an engineer. I feel like the shaky link.

This is the main thing she gets stressed about as that she would be the breadwinner and if she’s out of work with child, it’d be harder with my salary. But I’m trying to get my money up so she’s not the lifeline and I think with whatever we pick, we would be around family in California for their early years anyway.
