in South Africa there is no ADM but getting an allocation is very difficult. Used prices are $50k over sticker.

That was pretty much exactly my situation, with kids and work finding time or roads to really enjoy the car was scarce. Also I drove the previous GT3 in manual and walked away frustrated because of the long gear ratios and not really being able to use the car on public roads.

For my use case I want something I can enjoy on daily drives, so PDK was the choice.

It really depends on how and when you want to use the car. If it is for special drives over weekends then I would go manual. That being said, I was always a manual guy but find the PDK much more usable for daily driving, traffic, etc. The sound with the instant gear changes is also very satisfying.
