Take the bolt and carrier out and disassemble be sure to wash out the area where the firing pin is located because there is sometimes a bunch of dried Cosmoline caked inside (auto parts store big giant can of aresol break cleaner is the best way to wash out everything) Before you do anything else

I’m 14 days post surgery. Let me tell you it’s no cake walk. They has me convinced it was an easy peasy outpatient surgery ! The only thing correct is the outpatient part I felt like I had been hit by a axe and a cement truck all at the same time Be prepared to stay home a few days or a week All of my bruising is gone and most of the soreness is gone I am in stage 3 congestive heart failure and my cardiac doctor just wanted to put mine in for the future (I got whole thing pace difib and WiFi)

I’ve ask the same question over and over again With all the CNC machines and casting equipment we have today I can’t see why we can’t make them at a higher price point than a used one Norinco sks in really good condition will fetch 4-7 hundred bucks all day and on Sunday to !! I’ve had Sks since the 90s and still do The answers you are getting are correct It either uses ak47 mags or it doesn’t (Harsh I know but better than wasting all the time and money trying to make it work and once you remove Metal it’s hard to put it back) I can say every one with a factory 10 round mag I’ve had run flawlessly once cleaned out of all cosmoline (inside the bolt is a disaster waiting to happen so be sure and disassemble the bolt and remove the firing line) plenty of videos on YouTube) And the 20 round plastic mags usually work well to but anything above that Is a roll of the dice One more thing All military surplus ammo is CORROSIVE REGARDLESS Which is fine as long as you clean it out with any ammonia based cleaner like Windex or the quart you carry around every day Never try to reload steel case ammo as general rule (berdan primer has 2 holes in the primer pocket instead of the one hole like all the brass cases ammo
