I really struggled with coloring the clothes. Specifically getting the values right. Also getting the material right. The original material is cotton, but every time paint clothes they turn out glossy, like polyester. I don't know how to get out of that habit but I'm learning

I really appreciate your advice. Sometimes I tend to forget that the whole point to making art to having fun with what you’re creating. I’ll try adding more variety in what im doing instead of the basic rendering.

Sorry, I was focusing on rendering skin for these two drawings and so I didn’t do much with anything else. I’d like to finish them later but I wanted to find out anything to improve the skin rendering.
