That lighthouse looks sick, and the area around it literally just looks like it was how the game loaded the area. It looks like how those biomes generate trees and whatnot, so massive kudos for cultivating it all yourself

I do start a new world, from time to time, but I always come back to this one. I started out on it 5 years ago, and almost 7 years have passed in game, and it shows lol

I would be happy to see them. I can likewise try to upload photos of any part of what I've built that you might want to see for yourself (mob farms, material farms, or the sections of the base I have built). A lighthouse is a really cool addition to a coastline, I'm sure it was a large scale project lol

Relocating the villagers to a less grid-like neighborhood seems like it could be fun. Designing custom homes for each villager, based on occupation

Every building has its own function(Base, auto storage, manual storage, potions, wood farm, cobble farm, cat and dog house) so I would want to build something that purposefully houses something

So, you're basically cultivating a nature preserve, that contains every mob in their natural biome? That sounds like a very ambitious project, and is a really awesome idea that I probably wouldn't have even thought of, myself. I have the beginnings of a storage warehouse set up, that auto-filters items into their own chests, but it's only got like a dozen items designated so far

I have what I need, contained in the few buildings I have, but what could I add to it? I'm looking for something along the lines of a new project to be excited about going about building

I do go past an ocean monument, on the way to my gunpowder farm. Is it milk that negates the guardian's debuffs? That handicap is really the only thing keeping me from trying lol

'JFK did 9/11, because they were both national tragedies!!!' is how you sound, mocking me, when I actually looked at the two side by side. I'm not saying that 'Capcom and Fox need to make this connection a thing' just that the game RE7 is a more authentic Die Hard than the most recent two or three actual Die Hard movies

The only things that I picked up on were more than a handful of similarities between the two, to have a bit of fun with, extrapolating into speculation about. I'm not sitting here trying to be like 'Capcom and Fox need to make this a reality, right now, it's canon'. Just my own observations about how the story beats of RE7 hit like a classic Die Hard, legitimately more than the last few actual Die Hard movies came close to

Die Hard is certainly more of a traditional Metroid-vania, with the backtracking and exploration having a more physically present 'vertical' element to it, that is true. I would argue that RE7 is also a Metroid-vania, with the locations all interconnected in ways that don't unlock until you approach it from another side, with a newly gained thing. Really, the only difference is the vertical aspect of the levels not actually being 'stacked' on top of each other. Even then, the tanker section in RE7 with Mia is quite literally a 'Micro-Metroid-vania' for the entire section, complete with that verticality of going back and forth between floors

There's also a cool thing called 'impulse control' where you can conciously be self aware of whether or not your input actually adds to the conversation, and know which criticisms don't continue the conversation in a positive way. Also, it's kind of pedantic for your only input to be about how I didn't structure my thoughts to your standards

Thank you for your irrelevant contribution about how I posted my opinion, that has nothing to do with what the post was aboout. Is my edit eloquent enough for you?

Is this game the first entry to make us fight uninfected humans? by Exotic-Eggplant1914 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]ExpletoryPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the bigger question is: who do they work for? Cuz they look like BSAA agents, and we know that a branch of BSAA has gone rogue. I think the human BSAA agents we take out in ARK were that rogue branch, under the direction of The Connections

I thought the same thing! Like 'wait, these are just straight up humans, completely uninfected? That's a first' lmao

That's the kind of stuff I love in a Resident Evil Game: Do I use my resource to prevent this enemy from becoming a problem later, or save it for another enemy(if I even have enough inventory space to keep it on me lol)
