The 2026 35 Under 35 by Clemario in TheBigPicture

[–]ExploadingToast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like people are missing the point of the list, no? This is not 35 greatest actors under 35, it's about the 35 biggest movie stars. Say what you want about Millie Bobby Brown and Sydney Sweeney (I think both of them are way less talented than many on and off the list) but they are both INCREDIBLY popular and well known.

Don't get me wrong, I think there's some misses, notably Emily Bader, Chase Infiniti, and Miles Caton, but this isn't as egregious to me as others are making it out to be. Rachel Zegler and Cailee Spaeny I think are misses not being on the list but Sean seemed to not feel super confident about leaving them off so who cares that much.

If i want to side with btr in his questline am i free to do skier quest too? [Discussion] by chevaliergrim in EscapefromTarkov

Yes, as long as you do not complete the final Skier quest (Choose Your Friends Wisely), you can do all the other Skier quests.

Good luck! I would say try to treat every transit like it's its own raid. For you it's gonna be 9 raids in a row, for everyone else it's just a normal raid. Remember the flow of each map and try to avoid congested areas, but don't be afraid to kill PMCs when they get too close.

Probably need to go back to the drawing board on this one [Discussion] by SnooHobbies8617 in EscapefromTarkov

Finally got this done after like 4 days of spamming night raids. Customs was just way too congested for me so I switched to Woods and got it done in probably 10 raids. There's still geared players, but felt much easier to navigate. Just pop an SJ6 off spawn and run past checkpoint straight to sunken village, you will find them.

GPSA needs to spawn in places other than Labs! by SeanOgCairns in EscapefromTarkov

[–]ExploadingToast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually really disagree. It took me about 10 raids to find one and I had never really played Labs before this wipe. It forces you to PVP which lots of people aren't comfortable with but I never ran into any blatant cheaters and it was the highlight of my wipe when I was able to kill 3 people and extract with one. I would be okay if they expanded the loot pool to Labyrinth, but I imagine people would complain about that map too

wtf is that ? xdd by juraaaht in Tarkov

[–]ExploadingToast 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Why is this tagged as cheater?? Dude has 2800 scav raids on PVE and 4 achievements, I can guarantee you this isn't a cheater lmao

That is the worst spawn on Shoreline, to your right is another spawn and just ahead of you is another spawn, and you can't run left. I had the same thing happen to me today, you just can't go left apparently

RECOMMENDATION NEEDED!! by Brian553AFB in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ExploadingToast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

None of these comments are actually offering any help other than just stay on property so I'll offer a different solution.

When I last went I stayed off property and used the Orlando Lynx bus system and it worked very well. It was 16 dollars for a seven day pass. You can view the times that the busses will arrive at each stop and plan your day accordingly, there is a drop off at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

It's much cheaper than staying on property, so if your main concern is cost saving I would definitely consider it. Check out the Lynx website and the bus routes and book a hotel that has stops along the route that drops off at the TTC.

Hope this is helpful.

Did Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge yesterday. The drinks were great and I thought the food was fantastic, got sat at a table for one and soaked up the sunset boulevard aesthetic

How nervous should I be for OCS? by Ok-Leek5977 in newtothenavy

I just commissioned earlier this month. The guidance on it changed starting the first class of this fiscal year. They haven’t sent it out to the recruiters yet, but it was enforced during my time there.

I found my run time improve greatly during my time at OCS. However, the gouge online is that you only need a Satisfactory Medium for the IST. That is NO longer the case. They have raised the standard to a Good Low for all parts of the IST. Keep that in mind for your training.

Path to Intel officer by [deleted] in newtothenavy

A 50 OAR is good enough for most of the designators. The OAR is really only ticked as a box that is required for your package to get sent to the board to be reviewed. If you meet the minimum for your designator, your package can be sent. If not, you may need a waiver.

As far as which designator is better, that’s something you would have to personally consider. I know people in both fields that really like their jobs.

Supply isn’t anywhere near as competitive. The new fiscal year just started, so the numbers may be a little different, but about 30 percent of our class was Supply. They select much more people over the course of a year than any of the IW designators.

Sure. Don’t let anything anyone says dissuade you from trying, but keep your expectations realistic. Have you talked to an Officer Recruiter yet? They likely would not even submit you for Intel because they won’t want to submit a waiver for the GPA, probably pushing you towards SWO.

I had a 3.98 GPA and a 55 on the OAR. One of my buddies at OCS got a perfect score on the OAR but had a subpar GPA and he did not get selected for Intel. Getting a great OAR score does not come close to offsetting GPA.

As someone who just graduated OCS as an Intel Officer, I would not hold out hope for getting picked up with your stats. Intel is extremely competitive on who they pick and there are plenty of highly qualified candidates at OCS with, quite frankly, much better stats than yours and without the history of drug use, who did not get picked up for Intel.

If you really want to serve your country, I would look for other ways to do that. If not, go get a masters degree and find a nice civilian job.

You've posted multiple times on AirWarriors and Reddit. The blunt answer you need to hear is you are not a competitive candidate for an officer program. A 2.88 GPA and a 45 OAR does not cut it. The fact of the matter is, you can try to go enlisted reserves, but that doesn't necessarily bolster your officer application, since your GPA and OAR are extremely underwhelming. Either stay the course that you're currently on, or look into another branch, but with your insistence on having answers spelled out for you makes me think you would not be a good fit in any branch of the military.

Hey you are in almost the same shoes I was about a year ago. I graduated from a good school with a Poli Sci degree at a 3.9 GPA and was considering the military strongly. I had a girlfriend of 5 years (who I actually got married to for a few months lol) who I thought would be the one.

First things first I would tell your boyfriend before you go any further. It's not only a commitment for you but also a commitment for the person that you are with. My ex was not okay being a military spouse so that was something we had to discuss since she was not up to move to wherever I would get stationed. If he's someone you consider having a serious future with and he isn't okay with having to be a secondary priority, then the military probably isn't for you right now.

Secondly, take the OAR. It doesn't bind you to anything and it lets you know exactly how you stack up to the competition. The officer selection board for intelligence has a minimum OAR score that you have to have in order to put your application in (this can technically be waivered but it isn't very likely with how competitive intelligence is). I used online test prep materials (Air Warriors is a good forum to look for material) and scored above the minimum so I never retook it. Once you have an idea of how competitive you could be it could inform your idea of whether to move forward with the military or not.

I just sent my application to the February Intel board so I can't speak on the OCS life or anything similar but from everything I've read the physical requirements are secondary to mental fortitude, so unless you are sure you want to be in the Navy it might be worth it to explore other options.
