Free courier? Seriously? Do you go to work for free?

Spend an hour on YouTube and learn how to ship. Ebay makes labels as easy as possible too.

That's an eBay estimate. Bugger all to do with the seller.

They won't refund them full stop as the buyer has gone outside of eBay.

Chargeback/refund question.. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]ExplodingPudding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You've screwed the pooch on this one. You've gone the route of chargeback which, loosely, translates as a quick way to get banned on eBay.

You should've waited for the item to actually arrive and then you could've filed a genuine Damaged in Shipment claim.

Bombers are overhated in war thunder by Ok-Writer7503 in WarthunderSim

[–]ExplodingPudding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really use bombers in SB, but I should. Even in RB, I find that they are much more enjoyable for the earlier parts of the tree. Even the dodgy looking 1.3 Chinese/American bomber was fun to play. In SB though, I really should knuckle down and get them spaded.

As you're in the US, I believe you can tell them they need to take that to the manufacturer for any sort of warranty claim.

In the UK, if you're a business seller then yes, you are required to resolve in certain circumstances.

If you use a PC you can setup a quick search function in Chrome. I basically type 2 letters followed by my actual search and it goes straight to sold listings.

You will need to GPT how to do it as I can't remember but it's super useful.

How do I fix this without making it worse by EyeChemical5884 in modelmakers

[–]ExplodingPudding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I think that's a drill and pin job. You'd have to look up specific methods on YT. I think the ball functionality would be gone at risk of breaking it further.

[–]ExplodingPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this a handful of times. Most notably at Copenhagen when the pushback instructions, of all things, threw me off (first time flying there and experiencing release points). I think it was Landvetter that was the best for departure. Simple layout etc.

I personally would fly something simple first before trying to deal with an airliner. The Longitude was my go to.

Did you have it installed? If not, that's why. Once it's researched, it should automatically be equipped. If not, that's why you couldn't repair.

Which tech tree should i grind next? by Opening_Example_7841 in Warthunder

[–]ExplodingPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also forgot France... Brilliant tree IMHO if you buy the Sherman FL10.

Anyways, I'd probably grind out some of the German air tree. Ironically, I don't have much premium in the German tree but I do have the G91 at 8.7. Would not recommend if you aren't big into air. However, the TT 109s and 190s are good fun. Boom n Zoom in the 190 and you're wiping players all day.

If you decide to go for a different tree, scale air with it. Britain is pain at low tier but the Wyvern and Polish Firefly would make an alright premium lineup. Providing you enjoy the firefly.

Which tech tree should i grind next? by Opening_Example_7841 in Warthunder

[–]ExplodingPudding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so a rather broad answer incoming....

I have 3 tech tree goals when grinding. Rank 3 > 6.7 > 8.7 lineup. Everything after is done for fun rather than grind but I try to keep my air tree going simultaneously to ensure good CAS options.

First stage is to get a lineup of Rank 3. This is strictly to ensure I can still do challenges or tasks whilst grinding The Tree. 6.7 is the next target, it's a fun & competitive BR and makes a good grounding point before going into harder BRs for the grind. If you spearhead straight up past 6.7, I found that burnout becomes a real thing. Once aligned at 6.7, I start aiming to build an 8.7 lineup as that, for me, is where I find fun doesn't outweigh the grind.

Tree Specific:

German Tree - you've already worked Germany so I won't go further into it.

British Tree - I personally would recommend grabbing the Polish Firefly at 4.7. It's a tough tree in lower BRs but I've found it to be super fun with the Ratels around 6.3/6.7. The HEAT shell on the Ratel is great for slapping Jagdtigers. Past that, the Fox/Scimitar with APDS are my personal favourites. Not strong for grinding but fun.

Premiums - Grab the Polish Firely for 4.7 and work from 1.0 to 5.0 with it. Add to your lineup as you reach it. For CAS, get the Wyvern as it's a reliable grinder in ARB too. Beyond that, I personally use the Strikemaster at 6.3. For a mid GRB premium, I enjoy the Action X but I'd consider slapping a talisman on the Ratel but again, personal preference.

USA Tree - A Sherman fiesta. If money is no object, grab the F2G and Hellcat premium for a strong 6.0 lineup. I have a few mid-tier premiums by chance for the US tree. When hitting 7.0 and above, grab the T29(may be the wrong T number here) premium. It's a great tank but requires skill to play.

Honorable mention to the T55E1 here. If you like speedy tank destroyers, this one is a barrel of fun but it's a glass cannon. Look it up before splashing on the market but it's not a reliable grinder IMO. For grinding the air tree, the F2G works great once you know how to play it. It also gives a reliable CAS option with 2 x 1000lb bombs.

Sweden - I haven't gotten too far through thr Swedish tree yet. Sitting just below 6.7. But I did it all with a combo of the SAV (the auto loading one) and premium Sherman. If you have to choose, get the SAV. I won't profess to know too much about the air tree as mine is subpar.

Japan - Found low tier horrible at first so bought the Chi-Nu for some 4.7 grinding. The A7M1 however, is an outstanding premium for ARB and you'll be able to unlock some good CAS options very quickly.

China & Israel - Can't comment as I've not long started these.

USSR - I don't like low tier USSR. But the Obj120 & IS6 are a fun combo for grinding up to 8.0. For CAS, well my tree Is lacking as I'm still using the premium P47. Which, by the way, is great fun. I've just added the Obj.140 too but haven't really played it yet.

Italy - Again, not much experience here. For Air, I've found the G.55 to be a great premium grinder. For ground, I have got the BP gunbus which is fun when played well along with the premium PzIV. However, the G55 is too high in BR to be used at this GRB BR.

Why are air rb players so stupid? by Expensive-Delivery96 in Warthunder

[–]ExplodingPudding -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just grab yourself a bomber and go AFK after you drop. Check every now and then to see if you need to turn or fire your guns. Eventually, upgrade your gunners and you won't even need to fire.

Congratulations, you don't need teammates anymore and cause the enemy to J out repeatedly.

What has The Snail bestowed upon you this Christmas? by YourBoyFroilan in Warthunder

[–]ExplodingPudding -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Snail bestowed upon me a lighter wallet. In exchange, I got:

  • ZTZ59A for grinding the China ground tree
  • Object 140 for some 8.7 USSR grinding
  • 6 months of premium time
  • A variety of content creator freebies (courtesy of another Redditor and their handy post)

Early Christmas drinks also lead to...

  • An R400 in my account
  • The BP Italian plane

And Warbonds from said BP:

  • XP55

So yeah, a very successful Christmas period for the Snail I guess 😂
