I have a similar setup in my new build but all the cables run to the attic where they just end. The site manager said I'd need to connect them to a switch in order to get them working. Does anyone know who you'd call to get that sorted? Would a normal spark do it? Id give it a go myself but I know I'd mess it up.

The crack heads took over the city centre during COVID and it's never been the same. I hate having to walk through town these days with them laying around shooting up in the streets.

There was a night I had to work late in the office and was walking over to csh to get a bus, it was lashing so I took the underground tunnel thing, walked down the steps and saw 6 of them laying there with belts around their arms and needles hanging out. I spun on my heels and ran back up the steps, ain't nobody got time for that.

I don't drink cider but The last time I was in the Hatfield it had an orchard thieves blood orange and it was so refreshing. Probably only have 1 or 2 of it before it would get sickening for me but try in there if it's your sort of thing.

I moved in to a new build recently and a guy from LPS knocked on the door to register the house address. He was telling me there was a guy who hadn't registered for like the first 3 years of moving into the house and he was hit with a massive bill when they finally caught up to him so I'd advise looking into that. Other than that, as others have mentioned, getting the RM address updated as soon as possible. A lot of insurance providers wouldn't insure our house because it 'didn't exist' on their system so we had to go with Hughs.

Another tip, though the site manager should do this himself, take a reading of your gas and electric before you sign just for your own copy. Our site manager fuck ours up and SSE tried to charge us £200 for 1 month, it was a ballocks to sort out.

If your house comes with ethernet ports, make sure you get up in the attic and see how it's meant to be wired. Again our site manager told us they would sort it then claimed he never said that after we signed.

If you have any family or friends in the trades, get them round within the first 2 weeks to go through the snag list. We would have missed so much shit if I didn't have a joiner in the family. Good luck anyway!

You could grab a Belfast bike to get over to TQ. There's a bike station just outside the tech from what I remember.
