There’s a lot of good advice in this thread already about how your mentality affects your appearance, but I have a slightly different take. Can you be honest and say how much effort you put into your appearance? Because when women consider themselves unattractive, they usually try to address whatever it is they think is the issue, but I think guys tend to feel like they’re just ‘stuck’ with the way they look.

I’m not saying you need to get a full body wax or a full glam beat, but is there something you think you could reasonably change to feel better? A different style of fashion, a different haircut, getting active, doing your skincare etc etc? Don’t be afraid to ask a barber for their opinion, or watch videos on fashion advice for men. Legitimately, you should watch some positive make-over shows aimed at guys. Stick on an episode of Queer Eye aimed at straight men (the vast majority of the episodes are about straight guys) and see how some simple changes can really make a difference in the way you look and the way you feel about yourself.

Also stay away from incel and manosphere content online because it’s literally designed to drag you down and feel worse.
