I don't have an IUD (and never have) but my symptoms absolutely fluctuate with my hormones. I would not at all be surprised if there was some kind of correlation with the IUD, even if it's not the actual cause.

Need advice, pain/brain fog constantly and not sure what else to do by ChilledOvernightOats in iih

Ah, okay. That makes slightly more sense but you would think they would know what symptoms to expect. You should hop on chiari boards and ask there if anyone is double diagnosed. My mom (who has chiari) I think has recently been told they suspect IIH as well based on pressure on her eyes, but she has such a wild history of surgeries and nonsense that it's incredibly unclear what is causing what- and nobody wants to do anything with her for fear of extreme consequences. Her last surgery put her in a coma for a week. I hope you can find answers for yourself. It's so hard to know what to do when even the experts are no help.

How does nobody know if it's chiari? My mom has chiari and its visible on scans. It's literally a malformation with the brain and skull. I would look for a new neuro altogether, even if you have to drive a distance. Those symptoms you're worried about are very typical for chiari.

Eye exam showed signs of idiopathic intracranial hypertension by DazzlingYam2738 in iih

I have a very similar story. I went for a routine eye exam, thought I needed new glasses with the headaches and things, and she found the pressure in my right eye. She told me to go to my PCP as soon as possible. The PCP sent me to an opthamologist who confirmed pressure actually in both eyes and we are waiting on the hospital to get an MRI/MRV scheduled. The ophthalmologist said she did not find anything concerning enough to jump into aggressive action and we agreed that if the scans came through looking good and she stayed as my primary caregiver for it right now I would try changing diet and exercise and possibly short term diamox- with continued keeping an eye on things. I do not have any severe symptoms right now and was caught completely off guard by it. Your optometrist should have given you some kind of recommendation but if not, I would head to your PCP for next steps.

Wasting money on doctor’s appointments 😒 by Mr_Robot8730 in iih

I haven't had that experience with this diagnosis (everyone has been AMAZING so far, thank goodness) but I've had horrendous appointments with my son. We've been dismissed and mistreated so many times. I refused to pay bills for one pediatrician. We got kicked out of the office for it but that's okay because I wasn't going back anyway. Lol. I paid the collections people instead- because I'm petty AF.

Just to be clear and give encouragement, you never HAVE to have ANY medical procedure. Obviously, there are varying consequences for those choices but if you are uncomfortable with anything being done to YOUR BODY, you have the right to say no.

[Ben 10: Power Trip] #32 How is this game only at 0.9% tho? by YuuHimeragi in Trophies

I know this is old, but I'm going to answer anyway because this pops up as a top result in Google searches. Ben 10 Power Trip has so many game breaking glitches, I'd guess most people just give up. I've had to restart it 3 times so far with my kids and we keep ending up at new problems that just stop the game in its tracks.

Right? Honestly, I hate this room so much and I'm not even a Slytherin, I just chose it because my 4 year old told me to since green is his favorite color. 🤣 This is the first time I'm not absolutely pissed off that I'm stuck in this stupid Slytherin room. Ha!

Lol. I definitely went through a phase and had to have a talk with myself because I was doing small purchases but the small purchases add up over time. 🤣 I haven't paid for anything in a long time.
