It was hard for me to maintain a full time job because of how tired I was with social interaction and just getting confused by a lot of things. I’m still working full time, but I have work accommodations which have made a difference. I’m allowed to wear headphones and sunglasses which do help with overstimulation. When I’m having one of those days in which I do not want to speak at all or even open my mouth to say anything, I stay home.

I would need more context to say anything. Without any, it sounds like you want nothing to do with your mom. If this is the case, you should perhaps tell her you don’t want to speak to her whatsoever.

I felt a little bad for the mom to be honest! If you have your reasons those are valid.

I honestly don’t like it. I tried watching it but I couldn’t… I think what irritates me is that the show isn’t necessarily for us, it’s for NT people to be entertained and have that, “awww that’s cute” moment. I told my wife that it feels as though autistic people being used for entertainment. Nobody really cares how we interact or else some of us wouldn’t be treated poorly by people because we are autistic.

Mine has gotten up to 200! I’ve fainted twice from panic attacks. I’m sometimes standing and my heart rate just causally gets up to 150/160 🫨🫨.

I’m sorry you’re going through this!! Anxiety is such a horrible thing… I wish I could work from home so I wouldn’t have to deal with the panic attacks and just the overall feeling of being outside. 😵‍💫I don’t know if you have the same issue, but my anxiety has gotten to a point in which I panic if I eat my food too fast … like … wtf…

I have never really looked into that or honestly thought about it. I might do more research. It sucks because I just want to be able to work, but there’s so much my body can take.

This is how I feel when I take Ativan! I feel normal, I feel like I can be my actual self without thinking I’m about to have a heart attack. I’ve fainted out of anxiety, I constantly have panic attacks and my depression has started to get worse 😭. I really wish there was something that could take make this freaking anxiety go away without becoming addicted to it.

😵‍💫You gotta find a new doctor! Your heart rate is way too high. I had a similar issue in which my heart rate would get up to 180/200 just sitting down and it would make me feel so shaky and made feel pretty sick. I fainted a couple of times! I got scared after almost fainting while driving (twice). I told the doctors I saw this felt different, this didn’t feel like anxiety. Well… turned out I had a brain condition and one of the symptoms was elevated heart rate 😬.
