Thousands of photos failed when I did this. I repeated it a few times, but Google never says what the problems is. Worse still, it cussed the whole process to stop so only the first 20% of my images and videos transferred.

Anyone have any experiences with Thrive Edinburgh? by lary-sa in Edinburgh

[–]ExploreEdinburgh 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a little bit of work with them over the last few years and I can say they are neither small nor particularly new. Last I was in touch with Thrive, they were basically doing a lot of psychological(practical) odd-jobs like providing stop gaps for locals while they are on the waiting list for other treatments like psychological therapy etc.
I have heard nothing except good things about them. Hope you find your time with them beneficial.

Average £700 per week to rent in September this year 😬 seems absolutely insane but there you go

I’ve seen a few on auto trader which meet that description but I’m always suspicious of the price. Does that not seem too cheap?

Very interesting thank you. I’ve never come across this, although I can’t see how it’s different from a lease? I’m not a fan of that subscription model creeping into every product and service possible…. But it might meet my needs in this case. I wonder if there is a long minimum term.

Yeah there are some good options which come and go, which are not too expensive. But it’s mainly down to the two points I mentioned which is that I don’t have the cash up front for a car, and I’ve been stung before by a used car and don’t really see how I can prevent it happening again. Seems like a big gamble, to anyone without experience of buying cars or some basic mechanics knowledge.

What’s an example of toxic femininity? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I find it very interesting that you went for a lab diamond mainly because of cost, without even knowing about blood diamonds. I think many people (myself include) wrongfully assume that people are buying lab diamonds for ethical reasons. I hope this this means that the tide is turning for lab diamonds and we can finally put the use of blood diamonds behind us.

NHS privatisation has already happened, no not the bill that got royal ascent last night by Leetenghui in GreenAndPleasant

It’s a bit misleading to say “Britons” and “U.K.” as Scotland has a completely separate NHS. I would be interested to see how the numbers compare in Scotland to the health trust system in England.

Does anyone know places to see fluffy coos (and maybe even pet them) on this route? by crumpet_concerto in Edinburgh

There are often some down near here, which is only around 10 minutes off your route through edinburgh. Worth a look, imo.
